Choices

~Time Skip to before Shinsou and Izuku battle~
-No one's POV-

Izuku sat down on the cold ground. He was outside, a few minutes before he and Shinsou's battle. He was anxious. Izuku let his breath even out, he wasn't aware that he was unconsciously hyperventilating. He didn't know why he was so nervous about his battle with Shinsou. Little did he know, he was mumbling to himself.

"Hey, Izuku." A husky voice called out his name. Izuku didn't even have to look up to know who it was. A small smile tugged on his lips.

"Hello Dabi. You came here to watch the Sports Festival?" Izuku asked while finally making eye contact with Dabi. Izuku was surprised when he saw Dabi's expression. His piercing blue eyes now had a glint of worry in them, his eyebrows were knitted in worry, and his top lip slightly trembled.

"N-No. I didn't come here to watch. I'm here to warn you." Dabi explain, slightly stumbling on his words. Izuku looked at him with a clearly confused expression. Izuku cocked his head to side in confusion.

"Leave the S-Sports Festival n-now. Something bad w-will happen very soon. Make up an excuse or something. J-Just leave." Dabi's tone was serious but worried. Izuku slightly chuckled in disbelief.

"I get it. You just don't believe I'm going to win." Izuku uttered while hugging his knees. Dani's eyes widened as he shook his head.

"Your more than capable to win but...." Dabi sucked in his breath, unable to speak any more. The scarred man sat down next to Izuku and sighed

"Izuku, can you keep a secret. No matter how bad it is?" The raven haired man asked. Izuku cocked his head to the side in confusion. Izuku's emerald eyes stared into Dabi's crystal blue eyes with trust.

"Of course." Izuku responded in a concerning tone. Dabi averted his gaze from the green haired boy and sighed.

"What if I told you, I have done....bad things"

Dabi uttered and buried his head into his knees. Izuku slightly flinched. The emerald eyed boy shaking smiled and his mouth twitched.

"O-Oh" Izuku breathed out nervously. Izuku looked at the ground and rubbed the back of his neck shyly.

"I know I can't reverse what I have done, I know what I've done is wrong, but...you're the only person I can talk to. I don't wanna lose you. Although I act cold, I have just wanted to talk to someone. But no one has given me that opportunity, until you came along. So please, don't leave me. Please. Don't think of me as dangerous, because I would never hurt you."

Izuku shaking sighed as he comprehended Dabi's words. The scarred man looked up at Izuku with begging eyes. Izuku stared at Dabi as he opened his mouth to say something that would impact his future....
