Chapter 15

Alpha

Where the hades was he? One hour. it has been one hour since he left. I didn't go back to camp cause I felt that Sally would need some comfort. The front door burst open and In entered a Battered looking Percy. He held a small girls hand. The girl had brown hair and warm, brown, chocolatey eyes. She looked pretty cute for a seven year old. "Sorry we're late." percy said. "Mommy!" Atlanta squealed and ran up to Sally. they hugged whilst I walked over to Percy. he kept rubbing his neck. "you okay?" I asked. "uh uh" he said. I wasn't so sure. he looked pretty beat up. "well let's open the gift shall we?" Percy asked loudly. Atlanta jumped up and down. I gave her my gift which was wrapped in green. she tore it open eagerly and pulled out the cloth-like pouch. Percy's eyes widened. "she is 7 years old and you gift her lock picking set? seriously, Luke how idiotic could you get?" he asked. Percy strutted forward and grabbed it from Atlanta's hand and examines it. "well, it's harmless enough...fine you can have it" he said and gave it back to her. Next, he handed his gift to her which was wrapped in blue. Typical Percy. she tore the wrapper open. It was a beautiful chain. it had two blue shells in the centre. it looked like a locket. Atlanta opened it gently and her grin grew wider. There was a picture of Percy and her on one side and a picture Of the whole family one the other side. "Thank you, brother." she said and hugged his knees. She thanked me next and also hugged me around the knees. The whole evening went by joyfully. We played games with Atlanta and ate the delicious blue cookies made by Sally. Occasionally I saw Percy rub the back of his neck. I had to ask him about that. At 6'o clock we said out goodbyes and left. When we entered camp Percy quickly went to his room. Silena ran up to me and said, "what's wrong with him?". "nothing. He had a little run in with Destruction. he's okay." I said. Silena nodded and said, " Chaos has sent a new general from Sector 89, the delta quadrant. She is amazing in sword fighting. I think Percy and Delta will make nice pair". I chuckled. Ever since Percy came back from earth after annabeth's betrayal, Silena had been trying to pair someone up with Percy. But none of them seemed good enough. Maybe This general Delta would finally steal his heart. I hopped so. He really needed someone. Dinner passed by and Maybe Aphrodite saw her daughter's plan because Delta's room was right near Percy's. General Delta looked pretty cute. But not my type. She had Ink black hair that were blue in the end. Her eyes were like sapphires with an orange ring for the iris. Percy was in for it.

Omega

The girl in front of me looked stunning. Silena had told us about General Delta. I wonder what her real name is. I felt something that I hadn't felt in a long time. Love. I kept my face void of emotions and strutted forward to shake her hand. "General Delta, welcome." I said extending my hand. "thank you" she said and shook my hand, blushing. wait, blushing? I had heard all about general delta. She was like me except she was in the sector 89 and I was in sector 10 (there are sectors till 500). she was well know for her fighting skills. I felt a prick on my neck and I rubbed it. I didn't know what but neck had been pricking since I saved Atlanta from Destruction. I did swear on coming back after I left Atlanta but I didn't swear on the River Styx. Maybe I should have gone back.

Delta

This would be the first time I'm saying this but, I was so in Love. What happened to me? I certainly wasn't the same. Omega was rubbing his neck every now and then. The next few days passed by and I had become close to the chaos army. Especially close to Omega. he seemed to hate a girl from the Athena Cabin. Whenever I brought it up he stiffened up and left. He seemed at ease with the rest of the seven. when i asked him about that he said that they had betrayed him under A portion from the Hecate cabin so he had forgive them. His favourite color was blue. His favourite place was the beach. The only thing he hadn't told me was his real name. He said he would tell if I told him mine. But I refused. I even knew all about his family. He was an ex-son of Posiedon, Sally was his mothers name and Paul was his step father's name and he had a seven year old sister named Atlanta. My love for him grew so big that I found very difficult to not stare at his face when he was talking to someone. And whenever I saw him teaching a girl sword fighting I felt something stir up inside of me. Jealousy. I occasionally caught him rubbing the back if his neck. When I asked him about it he brushed it off.

ONE DAY LATER

I couldn't take it any longer. I was going to tell him. I had a slight feeling that even he liked me. But I wasn't sure. I knocked on his door. The door flew open to reveal a bedraggled Omega. His eyes were red and blurry. "hey, omega. Could you meet me near Zeus's fist at 7:00 pm?." I asked. "sure...." he said and closed the door quickly. maybe I was being wrong. He didn't like me. As seven neared I was thinking that this was a really bad idea. The whole day I hadn't even seen him. And whenever any one of the chaos army saw me, they grinned at me widely. But I went anyways. He was leaning on tree. He was wearing a blue shirt and black jeans. He had his eyes closed. He looked so at peace. I took a deep breath and stepped through the clearing. His eyes snapped open when he heard the twigs crunched under my feet. "oh, it's you. Make it quick. I have to go. What did you want to tell me?." He asked. I bit my lips. "uh....i...wanted to let.....you know....that...." I stammered. he raised his eyebrows. "Did you just stammer? what is it?" he asked. I realised that I could never tell it out. So I did the one thing that came to my mind. I stood on my toes and grabbed him by his collar and smashed my lips to his. He didn't react so I pulled back immediately. I searched his face for any signs of anger but all I saw was shock. "Did that answer your question?" I whispered.

"you like me?" he asked, stupidly.

I rolled my eyes. "of course, you dummy! what did you expect?" I said, chuckling.

"I liked you too. But I was just afraid to tell it to you. I mean what would I do if you rejected me? what would I d-". I cut him off by kissing him. And this time he kissed back. He leaned back on the tree and wrapped his arms around my waist. his lips were soft. Fireworks exploded inside my stomach. his lips were a bit salty too. I had a feeling that even though his father had disowned him, omega had never let go of the sea. We pulled back gasping for breath. He smiled at me and held my hand. "it's Percy, Percy Jackson." he said suddenly. I blinked. "what?". he laughed. "My name. It's Percy Jackson." he repeated. I stopped short in my tracks. "you mean like, The Percy Jackson?" I asked, my eyes widening. Percy blushed. "no....its just Percy Jackson. there is no 'the'." he said looking down. "yeah. so are we going to tell everyone that were boyfriend and girlfriend now?" I said. Percy thought for a moment and said, "nah. Luke's squeal will make the campers ears bleed. And the others...well...we can tell them later. You know, Silena tried to pair me up with a lot of girls after Ann-" he stopped, his smile melting. "what?" I asked. He shook his head. "I promise I'll tell you later, okay? right now let's just enjoy the peace. We'll meet here everyday after dinner. You never told me your name." he said. "Ok. My name is Cassidy Brooks, daughter of Hecate. My father's name is Zandur. He is a professor of gemmology at the Utopia University at Planet. My mother, Hecate met him there, I guess." I said. We continued to walk in silence. Percy suddenly smiled and said, "Persidy. I like it". I smiled too. So did I.
