"We have to tell Sally." Luke said. Cassidy turned around swiftly, "What?". Luke sighed, "we have to tell Sally about Percy's condition". Cassidy stood up, "No". Luke looked surprised. "why not?". "We just can't go tell her. Percy will be fine in a few days. We have to wait." Cassidy said, she was pacing now. "Cas...". "It's Commander Delta to you, Alpha" she said in a low, threatening voice. Luke sighed. He felt her sit down by his side. "Its just....its just not how I want see her" she said, "Percy loves his mother, Luke. You know that. He wanted to take me with him to see her. But now...please, let's wait for a few more days. If he doesn't wake up....we'll go". Luke nodded silently. He turned his head to look at his best friend who looked like death warmed over. He had become paler than before. The wounds appeared everyday and Luke would watch silently as Cassidy fought back tears while she cleaned the cuts and fed him nectar. The senior campers and Chiron visited everyday. Even Annabeth. Cassidy had been against her coming in but she finally let her in. Grover would come occasionally to check on Percy and to inform them about his condition. "the only solution is to keep talking to him. Let him know that we are her for him. It's the only way for him to come back." He had said. They had informed Chaos about Percy and the Creator had done everything he could to track his evil brother. Luke just hoped that Percy woke up soon because he couldn't bear being the Commander. He had finally asked Zoë to be his girlfriend. He knew how Percy would have teased him endlessly. He just wanted his best friend back.
