Chapter Fourteen- Meet The Parents!

Quick note- I have the story laid out now. There will be Twenty-Five chapters in total, and an epilogue to top it off. And, I added this at the beginning of the book, but the Roommate Terrence is not the Terrence that Thomas knows in real life.

Okay, on with the story!

~Roman's POV~

It has now been around a month since Virgil and I started dating. It's been great! We've went on a couple dates, even one double date with Patton and Logan (who started dating shortly after the Truth or Dare game).

I love Virgil so much. There's absolutely nothing that can come between us.

Well except, of course, our parents.

I was walking down the street with Virgil, hand in hand, on our way to the store. All of a sudden, Virgil pulled me over.

"Wha-" I began, only to be cut off by Virgil.

"My parents are sitting on a bench over there. They're gunna recognize me."

I scoffed. "Well, give them the middle finger or something. They aren't your parents. Patton and Logan are."

Virgil thought for a moment, and nodded. "Alright, Princey."

We began walking. I saw Virgil's parents look at my emo, and.. smile?

"Oh, Virgil, dear! Where have you been? We've missed you so mu-" Virgil cut off his mom.

"Shut up, mom. You kicked me out of the house because I told you guys I was gay. And I still am. Meet my boyfriend, Roman Red. (I just made up the last name)

Virgil quickly kissed me on the cheek. His dad spoke. "Virgil, hun. You need to snap out of this. Your little boyfriend here is obviously just looking for attention, and he came to you because you were sad and wanted to be special."

I broke. "Excuse me, you left your wonderful son out in the street. He got an apartment with three other boys. They kicked him out when they found out he's gay. If it wasn't for me, who found Virgil on that night, your son might of been dead."

Virgil's mom rolled her eyes. "Oh, please. Right. Anyway, I'll call you Virgil. I will find out where you live." The last part sounded almost like a threat.

I grabbed Roman and kept walking.
