Added: Yo, so.. honestly regret this chapter, and chapter 21, because I'm shipping Thomas (a real-life person) with an OC of mine (a fake person) and that just.. I'm cringing. Sorry 'bout that!
~Virgil's POV~
What is happening?
Jack's gay?
We just got home, and he's still sad so I think he's not lying.
We brought him to the guest bedroom and he flopped onto the bed.
"Thanks again.. you guys are great. You can pretend I'm not here, I'll leave as soon as I get a place." Jack said sadly.
I thought for a moment and remembered my first night here. I was scared. Terrified, even. I was so lucky to find Roman, and so lucky to have him help me. Jack.. he was mean to me when they kicked me out.. but he just didn't want to end up like me.
"Jack.. it's cool. Stay as long as you need. We'll help you. I actually know a single gay dude. You two might get along." I told him.
Jack smiled softly. "Thanks man.."
"No problem."
~Time Skip- A Few Days Later~
We're gunna introduce Thomas to Jack today. I explained his situation to Thomas, but otherwise, it's a blind date. They're going to the movies, and then they're going to dinner at Olive Garden. I told Thomas to call me if anything weird happens.
~Thomas's POV~
Here we go. Blind date. Set up by Virgil.
I drive up to Virgil's house, and I see Jack walk out with my emo friend.
Jack is pretty good looking. He's got a nice face, and his hair looks smooth. He's wearing a light pink collared shirt with a white tie, and light blue jeans, along with light gray glasses that are similar to Patton's and Logan's. I notice some light freckles dotted around his nose. I'm wearing a white shirt, a black leather jacket, and jeans.
"Hey, uh, Thomas." Jack greeted as he got into the passenger seat of my car.
"Hey! How are you?" I asked.
"Uh, I'm okay. I'm doing better."
I smiled at him. He should feel welcome into our community, even if he denied his queerness for so long. "Great!" He smiled back.
We chatted as I drove us to the movie theater.
~Time Skip- Near The End Of Dinner~
So far, we've had a good night. We've chatted a lot, and there's been a lot of blushing. I held his hand during the movie, and our dinner is pretty great so far.
The waitress comes over to hand us the check. We both reach out to pay.
Our hands touch and we blush slightly.
"I got it, Jack."
"Oh, you sure Thomas?"
"Yeah, I'm sure." I smile at him, and he smiles back.
I pay and we leave the restaurant.
We walk back to the car.
We chat the whole way home, holding hands whenever I have a free one from the wheel.
We arrive back at Roman and Virgil's house.
I walk him up to the front door.
"I had fun tonight. Do you.. uh, do you wanna do it again sometime?" I ask hesitantly.
"Yeah. Definitely." Jack smiled.
We exchange numbers, and stare at each other awkwardly.
After a little while, Jack speaks.
"Is.. is this the part where we kiss?" Jack asks.
"Yeah.. I think it is." I respond.
Jack cups my face in his hands as he leans up towards me. I lean down to the shorter male.
Our lips touch, and we share a soft yet passionate kiss.
We kiss for a while, and I wrap my arms around his waist as his arms go around my neck.
We pull away.
"Thanks.. I'll see you soon." Jack says, slightly dazed. He walks into the house, and I walk back to my car, looking back at the house before driving away.
A pretty good date, I would say.
I really want to draw Jack now so I might do that. Stay tuned Kiddos!
