Chapter Twenty-Five- In The Park (Part Three)

IM HERE! I'm still on vacation (I get home tomorrow, should be able to post the epilogue then!) but I got home early from dinner and decided to let you guys have the chapter.

WARNING: More cursing and more cuteness!!!

And a side note: a POV change means that we're going to that persons proposal, and the whole thing, not to what is happening in that moment. Same goes for the last chapter. Okay, here we goooo!!

~Jack's POV~

Thomas and I walked peacefully through the park. Every once and a while, Thomas would peck me on the cheek or say something about how much he loves me. He seems extra lovey today for some reason.

Thomas pointed up at the sky. "Look babe, that's a cool bird!"

I looked up at the sky and didn't see a single living thing. "What are you talking about?"

"Right there!"

"I don't see a bird at all- OH MY GOSH!" I screamed as I looked back at Thomas. Thomas had moved from his position next to me. He was now down on one knee. Holy shit I'm going to marry this man.

"Jack, you've been through some hard times dealing with people. You had to hide your gayness from the world to protect yourself. But, well, I see that you're confident in it now. I'd like to call you my.. my husband to really put the cherry on top of that.. oh, and uh, and this ring might help too." I slightly chucked though my awe at how adorably awkward Thomas was acting through this. The ring was rainbow. It's gay. I love it.

"Jack, will you-"

"OF COURSE I'L MARRY YOU, YOU IDIOT!" I screamed at him, smiling really wide. Thomas quickly stood up, pulling me into a kiss.

We pulled away and Thomas slipped the ring onto my finger. We silently stood there, arms around each other, foreheads touching, until I heard a noise. It was my phone.

I silently laughed. "Hold on babe.."

I smirked. "It's Terrence. Again. He wants to FaceTime."

Thomas though for a second. "Answer it."

"What?"

"Show him how happy you are without him and Bill."

I laughed. "Perfect."

I hit answer, and saw my old roommate' s, both of them, faces appear on my phone.

"Holy fuck, Jack, you're alive!" Terrence said.

"Yeah I am."

"Why the fuck did you leave?" Terrence asked.

"Because I'm gay, Terrence. I'm queer as fuck. And guess what just happened?"

Both my roommates stared, dumb-founded.

I showed them my ring. "I just fucking got engaged." Thomas whispered in my ear. "..and so did Virgil, apparently. This is my boyf- er, Fiancé, Thomas."

Thomas waved at the camera.

"What the actual fuck man? What's wrong with you?" Bill asked.

"How about you turn that question around on yourselves. Anyway, nice chat we've had, I want to hang out with Thomas now. Bye!!!"

"Wait, Ja-" I hung up. Thomas and I looked at each other

We burst into laughter.

"That was an amazing idea, babe. I love you." I said to Thomas.

"I love you too." He smiled.

~Talyn's POV~

Joan and I walked hand in hand through the park, as I looked around to figure out what they wanted to show me.

Joan pointed to a bench. "Let's sit down, babe."

We walked over to the bench and sat. Joan turned to me and squeezed my hands.

"Talyn.. we've been together for as long as I can remember. We've done so many things and met so many people along the way. And I've had an amazing time with you, and.."

I began to tear up as I saw them pull a box out of their pocket.

"I never want it to end."

I put my hands over my mouth as Joan opened the box to reveal a beautiful purple and blue ring.

"Talyn, will you be my beautiful spouse?"

All of a sudden, I couldn't speak. I slowly nodded my head up and down. Joan hugged me.

I could talk again. "Yes.." I hugged them back.

We pulled apart and they slipped the ring onto my finger. We looked at each other.

I wrapped my arms around their neck and kissed them. "I love you.."

"I love you too.."

AHHH GUYS THAT WAS SO FUN TO WRITE IT WAS SO CUTE!!!

I'll make sure to have that Epilogue chapter out soon. Hopefully around this time tomorrow.
