Hardly able to contain his excitement at the prospect of leaving, Arkin was in the kitchen ordering their cook to make him traveling meals.
"Sir may i ask wh-"
"No! Just do as you're told and shut up." Arkin shot a glare at him and left to go back to his chamber. HIs flight was booked around three o'clock in the morning, he would slip out as the entire Mansion was asleep. He would walk away and not look back once.
Back in his chambers he had two bags in total packed. One with clothes and the other with necessities such as money, food maps and his data pad. Her need to remember to turn off all his tracking devices built into his data pad and other holo phones. Should he leave a note for his father? It seemed the responsible thing to do.
He wouldn't tell him where he was going of course... But then Again it wasn't as if his father could comb all six continents for him; that was if he even cared Arkin was gone.
He decided he would do that later, for now he was content to lay on his bed and imagine his new life. Free from icing in the shadow of his father and his duties.
