Chapter Nineteen: Kyiira

Kyiira felt as if her heart were about to dance out of her chest as she hastily looked around to see if anyone was looking or watching them. No one was. She turned her attention back to the screen and moistened her dry lips.

"The truth about the Failure? I don't understand." She whispered.
Words flitted across the screen and the background noise faded as she read the words.

It is critical that all Senators before assuming the power, learn the truth about our world's history.
We do not deceive the people we simply control the information filtered to them. We do not lie. We are protecting them. You see the people believe the Failure occurred when China attacked the United States; causing our government to collapse. Because of this World War 3 began. It was long and bloody and in the end no one won. To ensure this never happened again; the Levels were formed where there is no supreme power. Everything is separate and simple. Peace is the ruler.
"Lies..." Arkin whispered. "Our whole existence is a lie."

This is the truth you see, but not completely. China did attack the United States; but not unprovoked.
An assassin from the US by the name, Ramin Monsoon, was sent out to dispatch China's head officials. He did and China was left leaderless. But this did not stop the US, they wanted to rule over everyone. They moved on to Europe, bring it to its knees and so forth. Finally they rest of the world joined together and China, backed by them all, took down the America government.
Everyone was educated. The entire American army and country bombed. It was mass murder. No one survived. The word America was forgotten. The Levels were formed. And all was at peace.
The people came never know that a mass murder was executed. That the very people they lived under brought down the American super power. It would cause fear, panic and chaos.
It is for the own peoples safety we do this.
