Chapter Eighteen: Arkin

"Would you please stop." The girl, whose name he now placed as Kyiira; was massaging her temples. "I knew I should've left you behind."
Arkin stopped fiddling with the small knife and looked up. "You can't blame me for being curious."
"We are here for a specific purpose, Arkin. And I suggest you find those files quickly before I decide you're no longer of use to me." Kyiira threatened before turning back around to keep watch. Kyiira had expertly gotten him through security and back into Level One without regoniction.
Their plan was much easier said than done. They were both posing as new citizens coming from anew Continent. This would allow them access and excuses for travel to Level One and the Grand Library. They were simply saying they were doing a bit of research on their new home.
It was a fragile flawed plan, as they soon found out. Even with their disguises; Arkin could still be recognized. His face was nearly on every poster in the Level.
They'd finally made it to the Grand Library with many close calls along the way. But once here they had access to a more secure system that provided a great amount if information on things on the surface.
Arkin sighed and turned his attention to the datapad. Despite the fact he'd gone MIA the secret network that all Senators used was still intact.
This network held files and secrets highly confidential. But Arkin had access. His father had ways been bugging him to log into these networks. But Arkin had refused, assuming it would be more lessons on his future.
But he'd been wrong.
"It's all here." He sucked in a breath and whispered. "Everything. Every single detail."
"What?" Kyiira turned around and eyed the file he was reading. "What is that?"
"It's a confidential network for the Senators." He scrolled through and opened a document titled T.O.F: HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL. FOR SENATOR VIEWING ONLY.
"I count right?" Arkin asked aloud and opened the page.
"What does T.O.F stand for?" Asked Kyiira leaning over his shoulder.
"I don't know, but we're about to find out." He answered as the page loaded.
Then the screen blanked out before filling with words; thousands of codes and three letter stood out.
