When we got to my house, we immediately went to the kitchen and grabbed all the food that looked good, and brought it up to my room. We turned on my TV and watched Netflix. We were sitting on my bed, he was leaned back against my pillows and I was in between his legs. He had his arms around me and was squeezing me tight at the most suspenseful parts of the movie. I felt him jump a couple times, but it was really cute seeing him get scared like a little kid. Blake came in once the movie was over and offered to order pizza. Blake is a really good older brother. He is in college studying anesthesia in medical school and is making slot of money. Our parents were doctors too, and they left over a buttload of cash when they died. I don't remember it much, I was only four or five, but I do remember staying at my grandmas house while Blake finished up high school and got a start on college before he could take care of me. I didn't understand at first, I guess I thought that they were on a long trip or something. It only seemed real to me at the end of summer going into 7th grade that they were really never coming back. That's when I met Cole, and he helped me move on and see the bright side.

Coles phone buzzed awakening me from my flashback. He looked terrified when he saw who was calling, but he sucked it up and answered it. i could only hear murmuring and Cole said the occasional 'ok' and then he hung up. I guess my expression was too obvious because he immediately started explaining. His dad called saying that he loved him, and he's sorry for the way things have turned out but Cole shouldn't come home tonight because there was a lot of fighting and the police are involved. By the end of the story he had that thing, you know, when your trying not to cry but it feels like you are dry swallowing a pill bigger than Alaska. He couldn't even finish his sentences anymore because he was out of breath from crying so hard. I just hugged him and didn't let him go. We listened to our song while Blake arranged with the police for them to bring all of his things over and have him stay here for the next while until further changes are made. When the police dropped off a box with his stuff, Blake arranged his room that made it feel happy and nice. We went downstairs and ate pizza without saying a word, and then went upstairs separately to get ready for bed. Around 12 we were both ready to go to sleep, so I gave him a hug, reassured him that it would all be okay, and then went to bed.
