Days passed, weeks, then months, Cole still hasn't woken up. I started to lose hope. I stayed with Cole for 3 months straight, singing to him and talking to him, but mostly telling him how much I love him and how he needs to stay strong. I never left his side, and I don't plan on leaving his side until he wakes up. Even when I got out of the hospital, I didn't leave because I felt like if I left, He would never wake up.
After a week of staying beside his bed and singing him the same song over and over the therapists said it wasn't healthy and would only let me in 3 hours a week. I refused to go to school so Blake hired a teacher to come on the weekdays and homeschool me. My phone rang:
BLAKE CALLING
I picked up. "Hey Blake what's up?" I was concerned, because he never calls me while he's at his university unless it's an emergency.
"Dakota. I'm need you to come to the hospital right now. This is serious. Drive safe." He hung up without another word.

RomanceMy first book so don't judge ************************************** Our love story wasn't like one you could find in a fairytale. But I would say, it's about as close as you could get.
