Later in the night men and women gather up in the tavern, Elizabeth's first day as a waitress. Elizabeth starts getting nervous and fidgets in front of Meli and me, "I don't know if I'll do a very good job. I've never done anything like this before. My heart's... racing..." She says her usual tone with a slight tease being hinted out.

Meli's cheeks fluster a little and he goes to her leaning forward, "I get it, it's your first time," He smirks at her, "Say that again for me, but slower," He adds.

I slap Meli over the head and I look at Elizabeth, "Stop encouraging him by your actions, it's pissing me off, Princess," I tell her glaring at her.

Elizabeth looks at me worrying and nods. Meli leans against the counter, "Once you get used to being a waitress, you'll be fine. Keep an ear out for anything about the Holy Knights' location. Even if it doesn't seem related, it might serve as a lead."

"So, for once. Relax," I say looking at her.

"O-Okay! I'm relaxed!" She yells at us and Meli, Hawk and I look at her blankly.

"Of course you are..." I answer and lightly push her out to the wilderness of the tavern floor.

Meli hugs me from behind, "You're being mean again," He whispers linking his hands together, "You know I love this side of you."

"Do you remember when we met?" I randomly ask.

"Of course I do, it's almost like yesterday. You were super pissed off at me for watching you bathe in the waterfall and nearly killed me," He laughs, "That's why I love it when you're angry."

I wiggle my butt causing him to jolt, I start serving and pouring drinks for Elizabeth to give to tables and those at the bar.

I feel something instantly and freeze, as does Meli, "Is something wrong you two," A customer asks.

"Nothing to worry about sir," I say with a smile then look at Elizabeth when she squeals.

"I'm terribly sorry!!" She bows repeatedly looking flustered, she flips on the food and hurts herself a little. Hawk starts cleaning up as the mean start to tell Elizabeth not to worry, she cries and runs out of the tavern.

I sigh and serve those men, "Thank you for not being harsh on the poor girl, it's her first day," I tell them.

"It's fine Miss," A man says, "Just worried she hurt herself more than she's letting on."

"Thank you again," I say and Meli and I walk out of the tavern leaving Hawk in charge, knowing he can take care of things pretty easily.

I look at the sky and Elizabeth looks at us nervously, but neither of us is looking at her, "Sir Meliodas, Lady Y/N. I'm sorry I know I should be working, but, I'm no good," She says.

She starts saying how she has been messing up and complaining about everything almost. Meliodas and I look for where the strong energy is going to be coming from very soon.

"I listened in on one conversation, thinking I'd learn about a Holy Knight's whereabouts, but they were just talking about a forest. They said the Holy Knights would never come anywhere near it, let alone stay there. What good is that to us?" She says.

I look over, "What?" I mumble and look at the sky taking over for watching.

"We had a tough time when we first opened up the tavern. We made a lot of mistakes and my cooking still hasn't improved," He says.

"But you two aren't just tavern owners, you are both parts of The Eight Deadly Sins. I'm a princess, who can't do anything right. I'm weak, I fail at everything I do. I can't believe I actually thought that I'd save the kingdom from the Holy Knights."

"But you found us. If you hadn't made up your mind to protect everyone, set out on your own, and brought yourself to the brink of exhaustion to reach my shop... None of this would have even begun," Meliodas says.

"Elizabeth, without you going out on your own. Your kingdom would end up in a lot of danger, more than it already is. If it wasn't for you, being brave enough to go after criminals has to the funniest and bravest thing someone has ever done," I tell her.

"I guess, I guess I do have something that I am meant to do. Bring the sins to protect the kingdom from the Holy Knights," She said.

"That's a good girl," I say and Meli and I look at the sky, "Just as we have something that we're meant to do," I add.

A spear flies towards us, on my left I wrap my hand around it as it takes me back into the village. I dig my feet into the ground stopping myself from destroying the village any further. When I've stopped moving, I twist the spear in my hand and fire it back where it came from.

I twirl my wrist in my hand as Meli and Elizabeth run up to me, "Lady Y/N, do you think that was the Holy Knight who attacked the village?!"

"Probably, I think we should get out of here now," I answer.

"But, what if they target the village again?!"

"It was Holy Knights way to see if it's us," I say, "They'd be in more trouble if she stayed."

"Let's go to that forest, as soon as possible," Meli says, "I'll explain why when we get there."

"O-Okay," Elizabeth says.

"Elizabeth, head up and make the last call," Meli says.

Elizabeth nods and runs back to the tavern.

Meli looks at me, "You, bedroom now," He says seriously, his voice becoming more demonic with a smirk, "You had me worried just now, so I need to make you sound alive again."

"Yes Meli," I lick my lips quickly making my way to the tavern and to our bedroom.
