Y/N's P.O.V.

Sun shines through our curtains and hits my eyes waking me up. I look out of the window to see that Meli must have let me feel a little than usual as it looks about midmorning. 

I get out of bed and dress for the day, I look at myself in the mirror to see the long-sleeved black mini dress, low cut with red spirals along and black tights, I put on black high heels. The low cut showed off my Phoenix symbol on my chest.

Hawk walks in, "Y/N?" He looks at me, "Oh you're awake, Meliodas wanted me to tell you that we're here," He says before walking off.

I walk after him heading downstairs, Diane sees me and holds her hand out for me. I walk onto her hand and she lowers me to the ground, "Thanks sweetie," I say and walk off her hand going to Meli, "This place looks dead... Guess it goes with the name," I say with a smile.

"Okay, so the first thing is first! First, we are to gather any information on King of the Capital of the Dead. According to the rumours," we've already gathered, here is the closest place to it. Also, we also have to earn money for food," Meli says and looks at me finally, "Sleep well?"

"Yes thank you," I smile and look at everyone, "Okay so we need to hurry up and get the tavern in order as it's the easiest way to get information from drunken idiots," I look at Ban with a smirk.

"What you looking at me for?" He asks frowning.

"You're the drunken idiot of the ground," I say before looking at Meli to continue. 

"Okay, everyone here is going to work, you hear? I'm leaving Diane in charge of attracting patrons, Giant Jumbo Billboard Girl," He says pointing to Diane then Ban, "And you be our cook, so you better cook up delicious meals, Chef Jailbreak!" 

"Are you sure you want him to be the chef?" Hawk asks.

"He's a better cook than me and that's me saying that," I say looking at Hawk with a smile.

"Alright everyone let's get to work!" Meli claps his hands and wraps his arms around my waist pulling me into him. He leans in, "Morning kiss?" He whispers.

Elizabeth looks over and interrupts, "Please let me be a waitress, again. My injuries don't bother me at all now," She says and I look over at her.

"Just don't overdo it," Meli says and looks at where Ban stood, "Oh and Ban, the cellar's around the back... Ban?" He's gone, "He ran away."

"Chicken," I comment and wrap my arms around Meli's neck and kisses him before walking inside. 

I walk inside and start cleaning up the tables, "Sir Meliodas, Lady Y/N? I was wondering what kind of man Sir King was?" Elizabeth asks.

"Let's see... In a way, he's The Eight Deadly Sins mascot. Like our pet," Meli says.

I giggle and walk-up sitting on a bar stool, "Yeah, he definitely was a pet," I agree.

"Excuse me!? Did you both just say pet?! A place that serves food has got no right to be keeping an animal!" Hawk says.

Elizabeth, Hawk, I look at him blankly, "Ever heard of the would irony?" I ask then smiles, "We didn't mean pet that way either Hawk," I clarify. 

"Anyway... Honey, do you remember that time with the stuffed animals?" Meli asks and I nod with a big smile, "There was a time when Ban was into collecting stuffed animals... From children. When King found out he lectured him and cried before King returned all the stuffed animals while Ban was passed out drunk."

"Now that I think about it, those two were always together... Fighting each other or with each other... But I think half of the reason was so King could clean up all of Ban's messes," I say with a smile. 

Meli and I freeze feeling magical energy, "Was that?" Meli asks and I smile.

"Let's go," I ask getting up and leaving the tavern, "Let's go look for Ban," I say as an order.

Lucky for me everyone follows whatever I say, which made it easier at times.

I walk forward to the magical energy and see Ban fighting someone, someone floating. Meli passes me and jumps up hitting Ban on the head with a pint cup, "Bad Ban," He says.

I watch as Ban complains about us stopping him teaching the 'kid' a lesson. I look up and see the boy, "King!" I say happily with the others.

"Tell me how the fuck that little runt is meant to be King!" Ban asks frustratedly.

"I guess he lost a little bit of weight," I shrug and Ban yells at me, it all was a buzz as it was too loud and too close to my ear for me to understand anything that just came out of his mouth.

I watch Diane and King as she tells him how happy she is to see him but he just flies off quickly, "Shy much?" 

Meli steps to me, "Let's head back," He says taking my hand and the two of us lead everyone else back to the tavern. Ban brings along the two children he found.

Once we're back at the tavern, I take a seat at a table and rest a little while Ban cooks up food for the children. I watch him cook, it is always relaxing especially when you will be eating something that is edible. 

The children start telling Ban how to get in The Capital of Dead, I look over thinking about it, "So, share memories or we die? Correct?" I ask and the children look at me nodding.

I stand up, "Well then, let's go," I say and walk out of the tavern again with the others. Meli walks beside me sliding his hand into mine, "Hi Meli," I smile.

"Hello N/N. You seem to be wanting to be busy," He comments and I nod, "Then, I'll keep you very busy," He smirks.

"That can be taken in multiple different ways," I say as we stand on a patch of the nearly dead land, after catching up to ban who somehow past us.

Memories of the dead huh? He isn't dead, but it might work...

"Y/N!" A male voice says in her mind.

"Zeldris..."
