I woke up the next day as sore as heck. First my mind was blank, then all of yesterday came flooding back into my head.

"SASUKE I'M GOING TO GET YOU FOR TRYING TO GO AFTER MY MAN!" I yelled jumping up and standing on my bed.

"Nice to see that you're awake." A gentle voice said, I turned around to see Hinata standing there in black. Looking around I realized I was in the hospital.

"The third hokage died yesterday and the funeral will be in thirty minutes..." She said and started tearing up, she hand gestured to a black dress laying on a chair.

"Oh...okay..." I said grabbing the dress and walked into the bathroom to change. Truthfully I had no clue how to feel, maybe I could have stopped him from dying. Then again as soon as you are born you are destined to die too....This is too deep for me, and for the morning too.

The walk to the funeral was silent. When we got to the funeral I nodded my head good bye to Hinata and walked towards Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi.

"Here, I thought you wouldn't have a rose to put up there so I got an extra for you." Sakura said handing me a flower and I nodded.

"This is ..... really drepressing." I said quietly.

"Yeah...it is." Naruto said, agreeing with me.

"Don't worry, i'll make things better." I said and turned towards Sasuke wiggling my eyebrows. Kaka-Sensei hit me on the head.

"Baka. Show some respect for today." He said, I stuck my tongue out at him.

"You think he wants everybody to be crying now? No, he wants us to be laughing and smiling while fixing the village." I said seriously.

"I should have known some one like you couldn't show any respect towards the dead." Sasuke said.

"I should have known some one like you just can't keep their paws off my man. I thought it was obvious I called dibs on him Sasuke! Gosh Sasuke, calm down your hormones." I said.

"Baka, you think just be-" Sasuke got cut off by Kakashi.

"Sasuke, everybody has their own way of coping with stuff. Mika just happens to use happiness as her way." Kakashi said.

"Let the ceremony begin!" One of the elders said. The whole time he was talking saying how great Gramps was makes me feel more guilty. I had to keep reminding myself that Tsunade would come and good things can come from bad things. It had started raining in the middle of the speech.

"Mika, it's time to get in line." Sakura said nudging me towards the direction where people got in line to put their roses on gramps memorial. I noticed some people said a few things too.

"Umm... hiya Gramps. What you did was amazing, it's of course going to be hard without you but I have a feeling that from this we'll come out stronger then before. Also, while you're up there will you please talk to my pet goldfish Memo and ask him why he jumped out of his bowl? Please, for me. Consider it one last favor. Thanks, hopefully i'll meet you up there some day." I said smiling and walked away. A few more people went and then the ceremony ended.

"Hey look, the rain stop." Sakura said, we all looked up and saw that the sun was coming out.

"MISTER SUN! OH HOW I HAVE MISSED YOU SO!" I yelled, running up jumping on Kakashi's shoulders and then jumped higher. Sadly, I fell down and face planted.

"My face.... I need this for Gaara..." I said mumbling while Naruto helped me up.

"You need duct tape to stop you from saying those pick up lines at him first." Naruto said.
