When you met team 7, you'd immediately become their friend, hanging out with all of them whenever you could. Kakashi had made it quite clear to Naruto and Sasuke that they weren't allowed anywhere near you if they had any type of romantic feelings towards you, which they both complied with at the time. After Sasuke left the village, you and Naruto grew even closer, much to your brother's dismay. And when Naruto himself left the village to study under Jiraiya, you were crushed, but you were confident you wouldn't lose touch with him. Which you didn't, he wrote you twice a week, sometimes more if he remembered. The only thing he didn't write you about, was his return.

You lay in the shade of tall oak tree, cloud watching, when Kakashi appeared beside you, blocking your view of the sky.

"Naruto has returned, I thought you would want to know. He's on the main road, on his way to the Hokage's office." And with that, he left as quickly as he came.

"What?" You sat up, a goofy grin on your face. "I've got to go see him!"

As soon as you were on your feet, you took off running. Thankfully, you were only four streets away from the main road and it didn't take you long to spot the spiky hair of your best friend in the distance.

"Naruto!" you yelled, catching his eye.

He smiled when he saw you, "y/n!" His brisk pace quickened slightly.

As soon as you were a reasonable distance away, you threw yourself into his arms. He caught you, holding you as close to him as possible, before lifting you in the air and spinning around.

"I missed you, I missed you, I missed you!" you rambled, ecstatic.

"I missed you too!" he whispered in your ear, "more than you could ever know."

When he finally set you back down on the ground, you stared into each other's eyes and he was so tempted to kiss you. He wasn't sure why, and he knew he definitely shouldn't, but he really wanted to.

Then the moment was ruined.

"So this is your girlfriend? Eh, Naruto?" his sensei exclaimed, "You got yourself a fine woman!"

"Shut up, Pervy Sage! S-she's not my girlfriend..." he mumbled. But she could be. he thought in the back of his mind.

You, Sasuke and Naruto walked around the village, looking for fun things to do. You turned a corner, coming face to face with a large group of Sasuke's fan girls.

They erupted into a chorus of 'Sasuke!', 'He's so cool' and 'I love you, Sasuke!"

Your elder brother rolled his eyes, while you, on the other hand, struggled to hold in your laughter. Sasuke sent you a pleading look, silently asking for your help getting the girls to leave you alone. You sighed, pushing a few girls away from him.

"Get off my boyfriend!" I snapped, clinging to his arm. His eyes widened, as did Naruto's, before he leaned into you, a smirk resting on his lips.

"Sasuke, is she your girlfriend?" one girl spoke up.

"Yeah," he stated, smugly.

"Eh? When did this happen?" Naruto shouted.

"I don't believe you! If she was your girlfriend we would know!" another girl protested.

"Well, watch this!" You looked Sasuke in the eye for a moment, cupping his cheeks with your hands , before placing a sloppy kiss to the corner of his mouth. Your lips were hardly touching, but to everyone else, it appeared you were kissing him full on the lips.
