You had been avoiding Naruto for about a month now, and heard from Kakashi that he was up and out again. You'd also heard that he wanted to talk to you, and your brother kept sending him your way, with you making narrow escapes. You still weren't ready to talk to him, you didn't know if you would ever be, but you knew you had to.

He turned up to your house one day, and Kakashi sent him upstairs to your room, so you decided you weren't going to run from him this time. He knocked on your door.

"y/n? Can I talk to you?"

"Um, yeah. Come in."

He did so, sitting down in the chair by your bed. You straightened your clothes and sat up a bit, watching his every move.

"y/n, I'm so so sorry for what I did! I shouldn't've treated you like that! I was just mad at Okd Lady Tsunsde and I took it out on you! I didn't mean it, honestly!"

"Naruto, I-"

"Just please forgive me! You don't have to stay with me but please please please forgive me!"

"I-"

"And if you do stay with me, I'll treat you better! Believe it! An-And I'll spend all my time with you! And we can cuddle and go on dates! And I'll never ever do anything like that again! And I-"

"Shut up, Naruto!"

He went silent, biting the inside of his cheek. His big blue eyes were full of regret and it hurt you looking into them.

"Sorry. It's just, I forgive you, I do, and I know you were in a bad place, but you completely threw away everything that ever happened to me. You're not the only one who's lost people, or are you forgetting about my parents? And the way you spot to me was, well, scary. I didn't like that Naruto."

"I'm sorry. I promise I'll never put you through that again. That side of me is gone! And he's never coming back! Because of you. I just wanna be with you, no matter what."

You sighed, jumping to your feet. He stood up too, hovering above you. Wrapping your arms around him, you pulled him close.

"We can give this another try..."

He laughed heartily, lifting you up and spinning.

"Thank you, y/n! I love you so much!"

"I love you too!"

Sasuke hadn't said a word to you in a week, since that night, but you had seen him following you around town. It was always from a distance, and his eyes never left you. To be honest, you found this very annoying, and your patience wore out in a matter of days.

You stormed over to him, grabbing his arm and pulling him to a more private area. He let you do all of this, knowing that you guys would've had this conversation sometime soon.

"What do you want, Sasuke? You've been following me around all the time and it's so annoying! Just say what you want to say, and we can be done."

"I don't want that. I want to stay with you."

"Well you should've thought about that before you put your hands on me."

"I didn't mean to. I was jealous and I took it out on you. I'm sorry."
