Joe's POV
My palms were sweating ridiculous amounts, I was so nervous.
I thought my chest was going to explode, as I breathed heavily, becoming increasingly afraid I was going to faint.
I opened the bedroom door.
'What's up Broseph?' Zoe laughed.
'I Urm I need to talk to you Zo.' I stammered, sitting down on her bed.
She looked concerned and shut her laptop. 'Erm sure, what's going on?'
'I just, I, I, er..' I stuttered, awkwardly playing with my hands, tears welling in my eyes.
'Joe? What's wrong? You can tell me, don't cry.' Zoe said reassuringly.
'I'm gay.' I blurted, tears running down my face.
'Oh Joe! Aw hun, I'm proud you told me.' Zoe cried only sounding slightly surprised, pulling me into a hug.
'It's okay, it's okay.' She said repeatedly, as I cried onto her shoulder.
'Whats going on?' Dad said, poking his head round the door.
Zoe and I looked up surprised, she looked at me encouragingly. 'Go on Joe, I promise it'll be okay.' She whispered.
'Dad I need to tell you something.' I said quietly through my tears.
'What's wrong?' He asked concerned.
'I..am gay.' I said closing my eyes, scared.
Dad's face softened.
'Joe.' He said. 'Its okay, I love you whatever, you know that right? It's okay.'
I opened my eyes.
'Thank you for telling me.' He whispered, pulling me into a massive hug.
