3 HOURS LATER
I was tossing and turning for 3 hours straight. Ugh. Don't get me wrong this bed feels like Heaven on Earth but I'm not use to it.
I got off the bed and made my way to the door. I stuck my head out the crack of the door to see if anyone was out there. Once I saw there was nothing I tiptoed down the hallway to the kitchen.
I was digging in the fringe when I heard a deep voice speak from across the room." What are you doing up so late, Mrs. Blaze?" I turned to see Kaius sitting at the island fiddling with a needle.
"Sorry Mr. Hades. Damnit. I mean Kaius." He let out a low chuckle that brought a smile to my face." I couldn't sleep so I came to get something to eat." He nodded. I continued-"what are you doing with that needle?"
"You do know I'm psychotic, right?" I nodded."Well, I don't want to make another bad impression of myself, so I'm taking my meds." He flicked the needle and connects it with his skin pushing the liquid deep into his veins.

I gasped, quickly making my way over to Kaius."oh no. Why did you do that?" I breathed out worry taking its presence in my voice.
"I don't want any of you to start up rumors or judge me." He scoffed."Have you heard the rumors? The rumors of me taking children's lives." I looked deep into his eyes and saw how hurt he was anyone could accuse him of such a thing.
"Yeah I'm a Mafia leader, I kill, I'm psychotic but never in my whole fucking lifespan would I ever dare harm a child." He said lowly as his voice got cold and drained. I took his face in my hands and spoke-
"You shouldn't care what people think about you, Mr. Hades. I know don't call me that but I like it, so I'm stickin with it." I said happily trying to lighten his mood.
His lip curved a little bit but that is not good enough for XENA BLAZE!!"And if it makes you feel better I don't believe those rumors about you harming children." I spoke softly. This brought a huge smile on his face.
He leaned over slowly until he was near my cheek. He gave me a small peck before pulling away. He got up and whispered in my ear-

I wandered what he said.
