Chapter 41. Let Him In

As I looked into the darkness of my room I turn stunned at the strong arm that wraps itself around my body. Pulling me closer to the arms chest, I calm myself smelling the known scent of Kaius."You scared me." I sighed as I turned to face him.

"Sorry." He mumbled.

"What's wrong?" I asked as he slid up from the position he was previously in.

"Come here." Crawling onto his lap he continue-"A man tried to attack me tonight. Said he worked for someone named Holly Rosewood."

"And why does this bother you?"

"It doesn't but I don't know who the bitch is and it's pissing me off. They-" he pointed to his head-"won't shut the fuck up. Normally I would be happy to hear them but they're being dicks today." Who the hell is he talking about?

"Who are you talking about?" He chuckled as he repeatedly poked his head.

"The voices. The ones that talk to me. Help me."Sighing his poking stopped."Save me." I rose my eyebrow in confusion hoping he would clear it up."When I don't take my injection they come out."

"Well take your injection if you don't like them." I said trying to solve his 'metal crisis'."It'll probably help."

"No! That's the thing, I don't want them gone. I feel alone without them. Lost, like I'll never find home." He looked dead into my eyes."Please don't make me take it, amore."

"I'm not I was just suggesting." Letting out a breath, he nods in relief.

"Thank you, amore." Kissing the top of my head he pulls me down into his chest."Now sleep."

"Goodnight." I said as I fell into the comfort of the warm sheets.

"Night." Thinking he was done I closed my eyes but they reopened by a scratch at the door."No! Go away, Lucion!" Kaius yelled at the door as the scratching continued.

"Just let him in." I laughed as Lucion started to cry.

"No!" Kaius snapped as his glare was still directed to the door. Grabbing his face I make him look at me. As his eyes met mine he got the point."Fine."

Once he slipped out of bed and made his way towards the door Lucion went crazy. Bursting passed Kaius he flies through the air and lands on the bed beside me. Licking me repeatedly I smile."Hi boy." I was too busy loving Lucion to notice Kaius pouting. Turning towards him I shake my head."Stop being a little bitch and come over here."

"There's no need to be rude." He said as he pushed Lucion and laid by me."Night."

"Night." I said as I turned to lay on the edge."

"Damnit Lucion!" I smile in the darkness as I hear them silently fight.
