Cayley's POV
Wendy walked over to me and I expected her to beat me up or something. As I was getting ready for the worst, she stopped right in front of me.
"Aren't you gonna hurt me?" I asked confused.
"Oh, no! Just so you know, I don't hate you. I actually think you're pretty nice. Tammy threatens me if I don't make you miserable. Anyway, I was inviting you to a costume party I'm hosting a party tomorrow. Sorry for such late notice." She says.
Wendy spots Tammy and pretends that she was making fun of me. They lave and I walked towards the guys. I tell them about what Wendy said.
"Ah, Wendy. She's so perfect." Stan says and starts to daydream.
"Aw, does someone have a crush?" I teased.
"Maybe, do you?" He teased back.
I gave him a death glare. We continued to talk more about the party and Tammy came up.
"Hey, guys! I assume you're all going to Wendy's party...except for her." She says and points to me.
I just lean back in my chair. Just you wait Tammy. She stayed for a couple of minutes while I just decided to doodle on my nearest paper. She got up and left to talk to the next group of guys.
"So?" Kyle asks me.
I bring myself to reality as I realized that I was daydreaming as I drew.
"What?" I ask.
"Are you still going to Wendy's party?" Stan asks.
"Course I'm going." I say.
"Mff mf mphf mff mfph? (Aren't you worried about Tammy?)" Kenny asks.
"Please. I can handle myself." I say.
The day was short and the school day was already over. I walked home and threw my things in the corner. I began to think about what to dress up as for the party. Knocks came from my window. I excitedly open it.
"Mysterion!" I say happily.
"Hello Cayley." He smiles.
I tell him about today and how it actually wasn't that bad.
"So, what are you going as?" He asks.
"I'm not sure yet, but it's definitely not gonna be something revealing." I say as I open a bag of chips.
I offer him a couple and we sit in my bedroom, eating chips. We talked about my friends for a bit.
"That Cartman sounds like a real jerk." He says.
"Yeah, but someone has to stand up to him." I say crunching on a few more.
"What about that boy....Kenny?" He asks.
I pause for a second, swallow, and let out a sigh.
"He's my best friend." I say smiling.
"Nothing else?" He asks.
"Well, I don't know. He's sweet. Caring. Protective. Perverted, but what boy isn't. He's..." I say, but running out of things to say.
Mysterion smiles and walks towards the window.
"It's always good talking to you, Cayley." He says.
I give him a wave and he leaves. I looked at the time and realized it was very late. I get into bed and stare up at the ceiling. What did I really think about Kenneth "Kenny" McCormick?
