You walk through the amusement park, your date in hand. He is a gorgeous man, his brunette hair and ocean eyes had you swooning, and same with your friend. -Elizabeth, your friend since childhood- is next to a scrawny young man. She looks irritated at the fact, and of course the fact that you were the man named Bucky Barnes and not her.

"James," Elizabeth said in a flirty tone. Your date looks behind him and saw the bothered woman. "When you promised me a date, I expected a real one," She said and you can see the anger in Bucky's eyes. Of course, your friend wanted Bucky but he had asked you out first, even though you had secretly hoped that you would be going out with Steve.

"Elizabeth if you have a problem with your date then leave," You said although you didn't want to leave Steve alone. Tagging along with you and Bucky, it would be awkward to be the third wheel. You knew that from experience. The moment you said that Steve's eyes flicker at you with interest. "And if you ask me this is a real date, he's a handsome man, isn't he? That's what Bucky promised you."

"If you like my date so much then why don't we switch?" You smile and look up at Bucky.

"Sorry Bucky, " You said quietly, just enough for the two of you to hear.

"It's alright, someones finally taking an interest in Stevie, " He said with a smile.

"Oh no not that, that I'm leaving you with her, " You said gesturing your eyes back at Elizabeth. He chuckles and let go of your hand. You look down at your strapless sundress. The black material is coated in red polka dots. It's a beautiful dress, and you felt amazingly confident in it.

"Well, Steven looks like I'm your new, date," You said smiling. He looks at you with shock, and to be totally honest you would rather be with Steve than Bucky. You've been living next to James for the last two years. You knew how many women he would take onto dates. There is nothing wrong with that, but at the moment you wanted something that would last. And you had always had an interest in the man that would come and go from Bucky's apartment.

You link your arm through Steve's, "You know this is much better, " You confirm nodding your head. You can see the smirk forming on his lips and the light tint of pink on his cheeks. You ignore it, not wanting to bruise his pride.

You look over at him, he's around your height. You were a considerably short person, so of course, your eyes met his.

"Are you doing this out of Pity?" He asks as you loosely follow the two of your former dates.

"Definitely not, " You said, acting as if offended. You hear his soft chuckle. "I personally think you are cute. I've always had a small interest in you. I was really worried when about a week ago you showed up at his door with bruises and a busted lip." You said you walk around the park. You smile lightly as the two of you sat on a bench and share a snow cone.

"Ah, Brain freeze, " You say squeezing the bottom of the bench.

"That's what you get for hogging it, " You glare at him jokingly.

"I am not!" You said looking up at Bucky and Elizabeth. An annoyed look in Bucky's eyes, although he kept grinning, making sure the woman had a nice time. "So James tells me that you want to be in the army?" You ask him, keeping your eyes forward.

"Yeah, but it's not going to happen anytime soon. Not with this body anyway." He says looking down at his small body.

"I think your body is great, " You smile

"You're kidding." He says plainly.

"I'm not. But of course, a body like Bucky's is... Nice." You cough lightly "But that's not what's important. Having a personality is what matters."

"That sounds so cliche." He says with a grin.

"Maybe it is. But you, you're brave, and never back down. You're strong -In away- and you always watch out for those you love. Even random strangers you would have their back." You say "You may not believe it, but I really really like you, Steve." You grin over at him. But before he can even respond you say, "Oh My God come on, they're totally leaving us behind." You say taking his hand and speed walking to Bucky and Elizabeth. Your pumps were clacking against the pavement. You hold Steves hand tightly as you once again tailing behind the other couple, giving him a toothy grin.

The night soon came to an end, Bucky and Steve took you and your friend back home. And when they made it to yours Steve walks you to the door.

"Thanks for tonight, you're the first girl to ever want to be my date." He laughs.

"No, thank you, that's the most fun I've had in months, " You said wrapping him in a hug, his own arms wrap around your torso, and a slight blush creep onto your face. You then pull away from him and unlock the door. "Well Bye," You gave him a wave as you began to take a step into the door. But you felt a weak hand grab your wrist, he pulls you back with as much strength he can muster up and pulls you in front of him. Your eyes grew wide, he gently grabs your jaw and cups it in his hands. He then pulls you forward and your lips gently met his.

You can tell by the way he kisses you that he's inexperienced, but either way, you continue, the kiss is still amazing never the less. Eventually, his hands wrap around your waist, holding you in place as he kisses you. It's gentle but filled with passion. After a few moments, you pull away, looking from him to the door.

"That was uh," You smile wiping your lips the tiniest bit, hiding your smeared lipstick. "So will I see you again?" You ask laughing a little brushing back a strand of loose hair.

"...Yes," He nods

"Great," You breathe out as you walk into your home.

Steve smiles as he walks back down to the cab waiting, "Well, looks like you had a good time," Bucky said, waiting next to the cab.

"I did, thanks for forcing me out tonight," He said looking back at the house.

"Are you two going to go out again?"

"Oh I'm not letting her get away," He jokes, smiling at the thought of you.
