Thanks for your patience. If you have a request once again so sorry for the wait. I've been writing in small increments and haven't finished it yet. Love you, dolls.

It's been two years since you were found and your memory had been restored. Since then you and Bucky had been trying to make it work as much as possible. But of course, both of you were different, both of you had changed. You were no longer the happy go lucky, optimistic girl. Hydra had ruined your soul.

Buck wasn't the flirty man who could crack a joke in the vilest of situations. The person who could make you smile in the middle of battle. He was silent, closed off. And the only time you ever saw him smile was when he would come home late at night. You would go to bed silent, no talking, you often ate dinner alone, and you slept like two friends. He felt stiff every time you embraced him. So soon you just stopped, you had given up hope that it could be the way it was.

"James, " You rested your hand on the door frame, he was laying on his back with a phone in hand, he laid on the comforter of the both of your bed. He had a grin on his face. He looked up and sent you a fake smile. Very much different than the one he had a moment ago. "Who are they?" You stood strong and collected.

"What?"

"I know that smile. That's how you used to look at me when you loved me. So?" He shot up from the bed.

"No, Y/N it's helpless dinners."

"How many dinners then?"

"Seven." He glanced at the ground.

"Do you kiss her good night, Barnes?"

"Yeah, I do." He reluctantly said.

"Then you're dating her."

"Yes. I guess I am."

"How could you?" You crossed your arms. You leaned your shoulder on the door frame.

"Y/N, we both know this isn't working..."

"At least I stayed faithful." You pointed to yourself.

"Y/N, " He reached for you.

"Get out. Get away from me."

"You understand I've changed. You expect the old me."

"No, I didn't! I've changed too, and I tried to get to know the real you. Maybe you've changed too much. The Bucky I know would never, and I mean, never cheat on me." You ripped the locket from your neck and threw it at the wall. Just passed his head. You grabbed your coat and walked out the door.

Bucky walked over and picked up the locket. Opened the old clasp and looked at the picture. On one side was him in his uniform and the other was the both of you kissing. It had cost a lot to go get that picture. Bucky smiled, then felt the tears come falling down his cheeks.
