Convention (Peter Parker X Female Reader)

Please note that this is taken place after Homecoming not Far From home. And also I noticed that Tony seems a bit of a creep in this.  HE'S NOT! He was just being a wingman for Peter. Comments and votes are appreaciated.

Im also sorry for the decrease in chapters. I've had a bit of writers block, and school on top of that as well as rehearsal I havent been able to write as much as I want to.

"Come on Peter! Let me meet her!" Tony pleaded following Peter around the tower. 

"No Mr.Stark,"  He said grabbing his backpack off the floor and walking over to the elevator. 

"But you talk about her all the time! You tell me everything about her, I should be able to meet her! At least tell me something I don't know already!" 

"You know what! Fine I will let you her okay?"  

"YES! Kid, you are the best,"  Ever since Peter had moved in with Tony and the rest of the Avengers, Tony had been extra annoying.  Although Peter couldn't deny, he really liked Tony he saw him as a Father.  So he always had a soft spot for him even if he was annoying. 

"Her name is Y/N L/N, " Peter sighed pushing the doors to the lab open.

"Really that's a pretty name."

"Yes, it is. Listen, Tony, you can't meet her. She doesn't know I'm spiderman and I have a feeling that you would let it slip."

"Oh please I can keep a secret," Tony said tailing after him.

"You announced to the press that you were IronMan."

"That's beside the point kid, "

"No that's exactly the point, I can't trust you with this."

"You're a downer kid."

*The next day*

"Peter! Kid! Happy's waiting!" Tony yelled down the hall.  Peter sprinted out of his room, nearly running into the wall before him. He slipped his backpack on his shoulders and ran over to Tony, who was standing there patiently.

"Where are we going again Mr.Stark?" Peter asked ducking down into the car. 

"To an Engineering Convention," 

"Wait Really?"  Peter's face lit up.

"Yeah, I'm a guest speaker there," 

"Why didnt you tell me sooner?" Peter asked Tony thought for a moment, trying to come with a reasonable lie. 

"It was a surprise kid," Tony smiled. 

*What the real reason was:*

"Friday can you pull up Y/N L/N social Media?" 

"Of course sir,"  Friday replied

In front of Tony your Instagram, snap chat, and youtube account had come up, in the blue light. Tony swiped until he found what he wanted, your plans for tomorrow. 

'Going to the Engineering Convention in NY!' You were smiling, and your hair was pulled behind you. You held up the peace sign in front of the camera, which only made Tony like you more. Seeing as how the peace sign was something he did often in photos. 

"Well, it looks like we're going to the engineering convention tomorrow."  Tony smiled. 

*The present*

So maybe what Tony did was a little creepy, but he really wanted to meet you. And of course, he knew that you and Peter had something. So this was just his little nudge at romance between the two of you. 

"Woah you're a guest speaker there? Holy crap Mr.Stark that is so cool!" Tony just smiled at him, he adjusted in his seat and kept his eyes forward. A small grin on his lips. 

When the car came to a halt, the two of them stepped out of the car.  Peter awkwardly thanked Happy. Which made Tony have to stifle a chuckle. They continued with their day. 

When it came to Tony's speech, Peter patiently waited out in the audience, a few empty seats were around him.  When Tony came on stage everyone cheered, slamming their hands together.  The sound of clapping echoing throughout the auditorium. Peter stared in awe.

"Peter?"  You whispered to him, walking to sit in his row of chairs. 

"Y/N, hey," Peter smiled at you as you sat down next to him.  "What are you doing here?"  

"I told you I was coming on Friday, I asked if you could but you said you were busy.  And yet you're here anyway," 

"Oh Mr. Stark brought me here, I thought we would be in the lab today but he brought me here instead. I wanted to come with you I did." 

"Pete,"  He stopped talking. 

"Hm?" 

"I asked you out on a date," His eyes grew wide

"What?"  He squeaked out

"It was just a hangout thing, I asked you out on a date. You're my best friend Parker but the truth is I'm kinda into you." You shrugged avoiding eye contact. 

"Really?" Peter was focused on you, he had completely blocked out the sound of Tony's voice. 

"Yeah,"  You bit your lip just the slightest, you looked up at him to see a huge smile on his face. What happened you weren't expecting, he held your cheeks and slowly connected his lips with yours. It was just a small peck but it grew. His lips were warm and soft. They connected perfectly with yours. Your eyes snapped shut, and one of your hands trailed up his torso while the other was in his hair. You pulled away from him and grinned.  

"Hey, Peter?" You asked your voice quiet

"Yeah?" His voice was low and husky, almost as if he had just woken up. 

"I really like you," You smiled and he just grasped your hand.  

"I really like you too." 

Tony continued with his speech, the one he had come up with last-minute the previous night. Even though the two teens were far away, Tony caught a glimpse of the two. He didnt pry and looked away, but he felt happy for them. He knew the two were good together, and he had done something to help.
