This is just something that I found in my drafts, I didn't edit it although I did read over it. It wasn't my best but I think it's still cute. Make sure to vote and comment. _______________________________________________________________________________

I walked into Avengers tower, sweating from my past work out with Steve. Let's just say seeing him sweaty and wearing a tight T-shirt was not helping my crush. I took a big long drink of water from my bottle and eyed the lounge. It was empty, unfortunately, I was hoping that Nat was here. Seeing as she was the only one I could vent to about my huge crush. I let out a sigh of relief when I saw her come down the hallway.

"Hey Nat," I smiled

"Let me guess? Steve again?" She smirked

"Yes," You whined

"I know you don't like girl talk, but I'm kinda curious," She said

"It's the same old same old," I said, "Still have a huge crush, and I don't know what to do about the work out sessions."

"You mean your dates?"

"You know that's not how he sees them, and stop getting my hopes up! It's mean!" She chuckles.

"But it's fun," She said, "You know he eyes you a lot." She smiled

"So?"

"I'm just saying he checks you out all the time..." She joked. It was killing me.

"Okay, I'm going to see what Tony is up to," I said getting up and walking down to Tony's lab. He sat there working on something, honestly, you were not really interested in it. But he was fun to hang out with.

"Hey, Stark..."

"Hey," He looked up at me for a moment before returning to his work. "Wanna go drinking with Nat, Steve, Clint and I?" He asked. I froze, all night with my friends, and all night obsessing over the fact that I'm acting terribly stupid in front of Steve.

"Yeah, of course..."

~Later that night~

I slipped on a tight white T and jeans. Jeans that totally looked good on me. I mean yeah, of course, I was trying to impress Steve, but you can't blame me. I turned as I heard a knock on the door. I happily walked over to it and opened it, excited to see Steve in the doorway.

"Hey!" I said excitedly, even though us two lived together I seemed like I was seeing an old friend.

"Hey," He said, but less enthusiastically. My face fell, something was wrong.

"What is it?" I asked

"I'm not coming tonight..." He said, "Nat said for some reason to tell you, I'm not really sure as to why." He said. God was he oblivious.

"Yeah okay, see you later Cap." I close my door, a look of disappointment washing over his face. You look around, you excitement fading as you continue to get ready. I could still have a good time tonight. My other friends were still going which meant I could still enjoy myself. I walk out of my room and join Tony on the couch.

"Well leave in a minute," He smiles. Once everyone is ready we make our way to the club. The loud music blaring, no wonder Steve didn't want to come. This place was way too loud for my liking. I sit down at the bar and order my drink. The rest of my friends sitting at a booth, I didn't want to socialize at the moment. The only person I felt like talking to tonight was Steve. I sat there for at least thirty minutes before I felt a tap on the shoulder. I was praying to myself, hoping that Steve changed his mind, but when I turned around I only saw a worried Stark.

"Are you okay?" He asked

"No, not really, just kind of disappointed. I was really hoping that I could hang with everyone, especially Steve." He just smiles at me, the worried expression gone. Instead, he pulled me to my feet and walked me over to the dancefloor.

"I can't let my best friend sit over there and sulk," I smiled at the word best friend, not in my two years of being an Avenger have I ever heard him talk me that way. We began to dance, letting go of all the disappointment I had latched onto me. And soon the song ended and a slow but steady alive beat began to play. It wasn't a slow song exactly, but it was meant to hold the same vibe. We slow danced, laughing as Tony joked trying to bring up my spirits. It worked and soon enough we were once again laughing together.

I eyed the entrance to the club, hoping that Steve would walk in. And after all the wishing I finally saw his muscular body walk inside. He looked around trying to find us, and as soon as he found you. His face and body stiffened, his jaw clenched and his brow furrowing. It took a moment before I noticed the position I was in. My head was leaning on Tony's shoulder and his hands wrapped around my waist. I hadn't thought anything of the romantic position, it just didn't occur to me.

I pulled away from Tony and gave him a look. He looked over to Steve and watched him before smiling, "Go get your man!" I didn't smile though, I could see the hurt in his eyes, as he turned and walked up to the steps of the club entrance. I ran after him, not wanting him to get away. Not this time, and maybe that was the three beers talking but I couldn't. Over the past time, I had grown attached to Steve. He was wonderful, and I couldn't let think about something that wasn't true.

I finally caught up to him, he was walking angrily to a cab. I grabbed his arm, pulling him around.

"Steve we were just dancing,"

"And I thought 'Hey maybe she might actually like me back' and then I come to meet you and I see you dancing with the fucking Playboy!" I winced when he though his hands up in the air. His face softens and he looks at me, "I wouldn't hit you Y/N, I'm just frustrated."

"Steve, he was just trying to help," I said

"Why? I just don't understand why you had to be so close," He holds his head in his hands.

"BECAUSE I WAS UPSET THAT YOU DIDN'T COME WITH US!" I said a tear falling down my cheek. "I was really sad and he was just trying to lift my spirits, and we went dancing. We were just joking around. He's my best friend and he was just being a good one, and besides he has Pepp-" I was cut off soft lips on my own. I sink into the kiss and run my hands through his blonde hair. His hands wrapped around my waist, he slips his tongue inside my mouth, immediately I let him take control. I loved being under his touch. We pull apart when we hear a whistle coming from the door.

I turn around and see Clint, Nat, And Tony smiling. Clint leaned against the wall and I could tell he was the one who whistled. I smiled when I heard him, "Get a room," I smiled, "Gladly," I said under my breath. Steve gives me a bewildered look and pulled me to a nearby cab.

"Glad to see I sped up the process!" Tony yelled before we got into the yellow cab. I gave him a gentle smile.

"Y/N, I'm sorry," He said

"Sh sh sh..." I said and kissed him, I waited way too long for this.
