Y/n sat down, trying to get comfortable in his chair.
Somehow the news of him and Callie being attacked by Marie
'whos fault still lays to callie'
Was leaked to the public, and now there are angry Marie mobs everywhere on a witch Hunt, for him, only him.
"Jesus, cod, author, or whoever actually roams above...why does SHE get laid off!"
The green inkling flinched when a loud crack was heard against his wall. 'jeez...I'm happy for once this complex is made of brick.'
His phone rang audibly in the room,
Fumbling for it, y/n slipped and pressed answer by accident,
"Yo' I can see a lot of people chilling outside of your house, what's up with that?" Pearls voice came through the phone like a blessing as the inkling repositioned himself, trying to think of a non-weird answer
"Uh...well, Marie was pissed" he went silent and blushed "not like she still is! But...it got leaked, and people know that I live here so...is there some agent stuff y'all could do and GET ME OUT?"
He didn't get a response and looked down to see that pearl had hung up.
"Oh come on..."
He threw the device at a wall and watched it shatter,
"Shoot...I can't afford a new one."
He put one hand to his chin and went into thought, trying to find a solution of any sort to get out, reaching into the dusty part of his memories, the thinking parts to be precise.
"Well may as well take the bull by the horns and try and find a way to the plaza and see how much I'll need for a replacement."
After a quick change of clothes, he left to see
No one,
No crowd,
No angry squids and octo's
"Huh..that faded quickly."
Y/n left not thinking much about it.
Later on when at the square it was also deserted. But a loud noise was nearby.
Then a thought reached him,
"Wait didn't Callie and Marie say that they had a show...oh no..."
When he looked up he noticed a few people coming back, then a few more, then a lot, soon enough someone noticed him.
"Hey! It's him!"
Y/n didn't stick around to let him finish, he had actually already booked it, running strait to the drain, with a look behind, and the dodgement of a shoe, he went into his squid form and shot down the drain.
When thy' Inkling arrived at the cabin, he found a sleeping old man.
"Huh..wonder who this man is."
