The closer my due date got the more excited I was and the more nervous Luke got. Sam and Lisa were excited just as much as I was and they were enjoying making fun of Luke. I won't lie, I was enjoying it too.

"Come on, man, you've done this already." Lisa told her brother.

She's been here since we moved in and I really appreciate the gesture. She didn't have to stay with me but she chose to. She's Sam's mom's sister, she stood around when she passed and they've been inseparable ever since. Lisa has been taking care of Sam since the beginning and ever since I arrived we've created a strong bond. That is after she accepted that I wasn't here to corrupt Luke and Sam.

"Yeah, a decade ago, things have changed a lot. There's also the fact that I wasn't there for Sam's birth." he worriedly said.

"You were stuck in traffic, Lisa told me." Sam said, laughing at the look on her father's face.

"It's all generally the same, amor." I told him, ignoring the little pangs in my back.

"Are you okay?" Lisa asked.

"What? Why wouldn't she be okay? Why wouldn't you be okay?" Luke asked, panicking already.

"I'm fine." I told her.

"How long have you been having the twinges?" she asked with a knowing look.

"Twinges? Why are you having twinges?" Luke asked.

"Oh baby, we're having a baby!" Lisa shouted.

"No, no we're not. I am not . . . oh, oh dear." I said as I felt this rush of liquid pool between my legs.

"What? This is . . . you are . . . oh brother." Luke said, panicked.

"We're having a baby." Lisa said, sending Sam to get my baby bag.

"I . . . oh boy, I'm having a baby." I said, waddling off.

"Okay sweetie, Luke, I need you to call her doctor. Let her know that we're on our way in and her water broke." Lisa ordered.

"I need to change my clothes." I told her, walking past Luke who was hyperventilating.

"Come on, he's not gonna be very helpful." Lisa said, helping me up the stairs.

I changed into a loose dress, something that'll be easy to get rid of in the hospital, and we were on our way with a panicking Luke and the ever excited Lisa and Sam. Lisa did me the favor of calling Kaylee and Dom, they're gonna be waiting for me at the hospital.

Out of all of the possible things I considered could happen, Luke having a panic attack wasn't one of them. We walked . . . the girls in this group walked in because Luke was rolled in - in a wheelchair, hyperventilating into a brown paper bag. I rolled his weak ass into the hospital.

"No way." Kaylee said when she saw us.

"Oh yes way, can someone help him man up while I go do my paperwork?" I asked, growing slightly angry to mask the pain that's starting to intensify.

Lisa helped me fill out everything that I needed to and thankfully I was able to still do it all standing up. While we stood at the counter waiting for another wheelchair a ridiculously strong contraction hit me, making me bend over.

"Are you okay? How do you feel?" Luke asked, making me glare at him.

"Am I okay? I'm about to push a freaking Escalade out of a compact fucking parking spot! That is how I feel." I growled.

"It's nice to see you in good health, Miss Toretto, let's get you into a gown and check on you." my doctor said, laughing at Luke.

The hours melded into one another to the point that I didn't register how long had passed until it was time to push.
