Chapter 16

HOBBS POV

Once we were back at 95% we made our way to the main room where the computers were finally set back up. Shaw was typing away at a laptop with a serious look on his face. I can't say that I don't understand where he's coming from. Baby Shaw is his younger brother and Penelope is my wife, so I do understand where his head is at but I can't forgive and forget almost losing my life or my wife because of him, or what he's done to my family.

He's here to get revenge for his brother and I will get that bitch for messing with my family. She interrupted my life, my family time, and that is not something I take lightly. We will get this done, I will get that bitch and we will take her down. Then I can get my wife back.

"Damn it, she wiped it all!" trainee Nobody said.

"Took what?" I asked.

"She took God's Eye. That was the one thing we could use to find her. We lost everything." he complained.

"That's not true." I muttered.

I found my wife without God's Eye before and I damn well will do it again. I don't know why she's doing this, I don't know what the hell is making her do this but I'll get my wife back and our lives will go back to normal. As normal as we can be that is.

The sound of constant typing that wasn't coming from Nobody caught my attention, that mean's someone is on to something. Looking around the room I found that the noise was coming from none other than Deckard Shaw, himself.

"What you got, princess?" I asked.

"Finding your wife, but I've got a couple of minutes to spare if you want me to send you to the hospital again." he replied and I had to hold back the urge to smash his head into the wall.

"You shut the hell up." Kaylee growled.

"Down girl." Tej told his wife.

"No! The only reason you're here is because Nobody thinks it's a good idea, which I'm vehemently against. Make one wrong move and I will not hesitate to put a bullet in your head." she argued.

"If you're quick enough." Shaw said.

"Trust me when I say I am." she said, turning away from him.

Everything that happens now makes me think of Penny. The things being said and how she would respond. I don't care what I have to do, I want my wife back and I want her back now.

"Yo rules!" I shouted at trainee Nobody.

"First off, that's not my name." he replied.

"Little Nobody." Roman said and it had everyone smiling.

"Don't call me that." he replied.

"Oh, that's definitely sticking." Tej said, smiling at him.

No matter what the situation, trust these two to find humor. They lighten up the darkness so I can't really complain.

"Great, do me a favor now and tell your majesty over there, that if we're gonna find my wife, we find her together, as a team. When this is all over, I'll be more than happy to slap that whisker biscuit right off his face." I told Little Nobody.

"Now I see where Penny gets all her cheesy jokes from." Tej chuckled.

"Wait a minute, guys, I think Deckard's actually onto something here." Ramsey said as she looked over his shoulder. "How do you think Penny and Cipher got into the country without us knowing? . . . Ghost flight."

"I've heard about those but I didn't know they were real." Kaylee said.

"That untraceable aircraft stuff? I thought it was all conspiracy stuff." Tej said.
