It had taken months of planning for the perfect wedding. During the surprised visit to Katie, the two of you had managed to work out the date for the wedding. The (season) was the perfect season to get married as the two of you just loved the type of weather it would bring. Once the date had been picked out, the planning had begun.
Nine Months Before
You and Katie had set up a binder with all your ideas for the perfect wedding. You would cut up things from bridal magazines and she would print them out. The binder had gotten filled up after a couple of weeks. It helped that there was no need to worry about the money so all of the ideas both you came up with were added to the binder. Part of the things needed to be added on a binder was a guest list. You and Katie had agreed to make it a small and personal wedding so only your close friends and family would be invited.
With the help of a planner, you and Katie had picked out a venue in Ireland. If it weren't for her suggestions, neither of you would have found the perfect spot. It was just as what the two of you have pictured.
Eight Months Before
It was quite easy to hire the photographer and videographer as the planner had recommended someone that had already captured the wedding of several celebrities. Looking through his portfolio, there was no denying that he was perfect. He seemed to capture those special moments that you wanted to hang on the wall of your new place. Katie still had no idea that you were planning to move in with her. Your place of employment had promoted you and decided you could be able to work from anywhere, thus allowing you to travel with Katie.
You and Katie had similar tastes in music so there was no arguing when it came to the entertainment. You had hired a band that the two of you really liked. They readily agreed to perform at your wedding.
The caterer was much harder to pick. You and Katie would have small arguments as to what would be the perfect food and could never come up with a decision. Thankfully, the planner had managed to find someone that catered to what we had bother wanted, (food) and (food).
The two of you had agreed to shop for a dress or suit separately. You had one of your close friends join you while Katie had taken a couple of her close friends. Neither of you wanted see the other in their outfit before the wedding. It was bad luck and Katie was not taking any chances. She had a hard time finding one and decided to go for a custom made one so it was exactly as she had pictured. You had done the same and had your (suit/dress) custom made as well.
Seven - Six Months Before
The invitations had been picked out and purchased without a problem. You already had an idea of what you wanted and Katie loved it. Along with the invitations, you had also purchased save-the-date cards and sent them to everyone on the guest list.
Much like the invitations, Katie already had an idea of what she wanted for the flowers and you loved the flowers she had picked out. They were the first flowers you had gotten for her when you had started going out.
You and Katie already had an idea of who you wanted to be as your brides(man/maid). She had picked out Melissa, Chyler, Nicole and her brothers. You had picked out several of your close friends from work and your (family member). Katie's man of honor had been her brother while you had picked out (your choice). After everyone had been aware, the suits and dresses had soon been picked for the wedding. They were all matching with the colors of the wedding.
The last thing that needed to be done before the month was over was the destination of the honeymoon. Katie still had no idea where she wanted to go and neither did you so it was saved to pick at a later date. There was no rush to pick it.
