Background: Peter has no homework for the weekend, leaving him time to patrol as Spider-Man before he has to meet up with Stark for his internship. Just some wholesome Spidey activities and a not-so-free hot dog from a grateful stand owner.
Peter Parker was your average kid, he went to school, had some friends, and dealt with the regular teenager stuff.
Sure, his extracurricular activities were a bit out there, considering it mainly consisted of webbing bad guys and making jokes while fighting in a red and blue spandex suit.
Besides the stress that came with the job, it had its relaxing points too.
Right now, Peter could feel the wind flow along his skin through the suit as he swung between the buildings on his morning patrol. He could hear cars honking and people bustling down below. The sun shown brightly on the cloudy sky. Thankfully, it didn't seem like it would rain today.
It was the weekend, and Peter had finished his homework early, leaving him an enormous amount of free time in between now and his meet up with Mr. Stark. Despite having been in contact with Mr. Stark for a few months now, he still couldn't get over the fact that the Tony Stark knew him both in and behind the mask. Almost nothing could top the feeling of joy he felt when he walked into the tower.
Almost nothing.
The exhilaration he felt as he swung through the city was unbeatable. The rush he felt as momentum shot him further to his destination, accompanied by the breeze felt through his suit and the occasional thwip of his web shooters made him feel like he was on cloud nine.
Never gets old...
He spotted an apartment building that had a decent height for him to travel from and landed on it, skidding a few inches as he was unprepared for the somewhat uneven roof. He stood up straight rather quickly, brushing some imaginary dirt off of his legs. Feeling the urge to sit, he plopped down on the edge of the roof, his legs dangling and swaying playfully as he relaxed. From here Peter could make a pit stop and check with Karen for any activity.
Time to check up with Karen.
"Hey um Karen, anything going on that I could help with around here?"
He hoped there would something, anything he could do. But it was pretty early in the day, just after 8. Not many things happened during that time in the city that he could help with.
To his delight, Karen immediately responded to him.
"There seems to be a child in distress. Would you like me to send you the coordinates?"
He jumped back onto his feet quickly giving a small nod before confirming.
"Um yeah that would be great, thanks!"

When Peter arrived he was relieved it wasn't anything major like some lunatic with a gun or anything like that. The cat, named Sunny, as he soon learned, had got caught up in a tree. Apparently a dog came by, scaring him half to death. Which left poor Danny in a bit of a sticky situation since Sunny was being rude and decided to not come down. Thankfully, Peter didn't mind helping.
Despite the cat being anything but friendly with him, Peter managed to get the cat into his arms, talking to it like an old friend. Sunny wasn't really feeling the love and began to freak out, twisting and wiggling as a means to escape. Peter found himself so focused on getting the cat down safely that he stopped talking, terrified that the cat would fall down.
