Background: Peter Parker is just another intern at Stark Industries, working weekdays after school, leaving the nights and weekends to be Spider-Man. He was offered to be Tony's personal intern, and was offered to be an Avenger as Spider-Man. Tony is still waiting on a response from the two, not knowing that they're the same person. No Civil War, Homecoming, etc etc. Peter uses the Homecoming suit though, and it's made by him. This is from Tony's point of view. A few days after the job offers.

It's just your average day for the billionaire Tony Stark. He's in his lab, with the only light coming from his holographic screen, creating a new suit design to use his updated version of his nanotechnology on it. The beginnings of a new prototype. It'll be able to generate the air much faster, and the tech can withstand much more damage than its predecessor. He wants to make a couple of suits using this new updated technology, but he needs to make a test run suit first. Hence why he's been designing with FRIDAY all day. He'll admit, it's looking pretty good so far. Tony almost feels excited for this project, already drafting up the finishing touches.

While he's doing this, he can't help but be distracted by everything going on.

Pepper's been on his tail about finding a personal intern, while the points she made were good, he already offered the position to someone a few days ago. The problem is, he hasn't exactly gotten an answer yet. He offered it to this intern from one of his higher up labs.

The kid started when he was only 15, joining the company after getting a 98 on the intern exam. Most interns here couldn't get above a 70. It was designed by both himself and Bruce Banner in order to see if they could find any other talented minds. This kid was practically a genius and was probably smarter than both him and Bruce, not that he'd ever admit though. When the kid turned 18, Tony decided that he'd ask the kid to become his personal intern.

He was going to offer him the position anyways, but felt even more compelled to do so when he heard about the kid's money problems. The kid obviously was happy about the offer, but Tony could tell that he was a bit nervous. It's been a few days, since the kid doesn't work weekends, and he's due back tomorrow. With Pepper constantly nagging on him, Tony hoped the kid will say yes. But no matter what the kid said, Tony would be inviting him to work on this new project with him. He wanted to see how much this kid was capable of.

Besides the stuff with his company, he's got S.H.I.E.L.D. on his back about finding another Avenger. They've been spending years looking someone adaptable, someone who can do a little bit of everything. He suggested Vision because he's already there, but the idea has been rejected since he and Wanda are inseparable. This lead him and the Avengers to go on the lookout for someone new. There had been a few ideas, looking at some vigilantes in the area. A couple of them said no, considering they had family or real jobs to take care of. Some of them weren't exactly the right fit. Their moral compass was warped or they were deemed to be too unstable. They're still on the lookout, but only one choice seems to stick out.

Three years ago, Tony spotted someone, but they seemed to be a little on the young side. Tony thought they in their twenties and since they were relatively new, he hadn't thought to ask them. He theorized that if he left the guy alone for a bit, he could see what he could do. You know, see what the guy's got.

Needless to say, Tony was impressed with how quickly he shot up the ranks.

This guy started with petty criminals and in about a year, he had managed to take down super villains and whole organizations in the matter of days. He's taken down whole gangs in just a few hours. Besides this, he still takes care of the smaller stuff, even doing things such as giving directions or helping someone with groceries. The guy takes care of so much, moving around quickly throughout the city using webs. With the amount of activity this guy takes care of, it seems like he's in multiple places at once. All while still looking out for the little guy.
