"Excuse me, can you fill out the check-out time, there please?" the librarian called out pointing out at the magical mid-air notepad, along with a flying star.

"Glint?" I asked grinning, a little too loud that, I got looks from the librarian. "It's so nice to meet you again" I continued, reaching for him. But the star moved out of my reach and started giving me a cold look. Definitely not glint, I decided.

"So, you were the one, who calls out my son with names?" the angry star asked. I should say that for a cute star it was a pretty mean face.

"I'm sorry" I replied puzzled about what I was even sorry for.

"Never mind, we serve you, we also take what you give us", it said getting furious. I kind of felt it was better if I just pretended as if I didn't hear that.

"Name" it ordered loudly. I was surprised that a small glittery stuff was trying to intimidate me and let me say it was indeed succeeding.

"Rose", I replied coldly.

"Last name?" it asked, looking at me from the notepad.

"No last name" I piped out, and believe me I could've sworn that I saw it smirking at an instant, and for some reason, I felt outraged. I wanted to smack something at it, but instead, I was there standing, mentally repeating myself to calm down.

"Time out?" it asked again.

"I don't know," I said searching around for the digital clock I saw everywhere around the school, and finally I found it. 12.30 it read.

"12.30? Holy shit" I swore loudly running towards the podium. I could hear the mean daddy star calling out after me to sign or something, I anyways avoided it and reached the podium, and as I was dissolved into darkness and as nausea followed. I was standing there in the hallway leading to the dining hall. I started sprinting towards the dining hall in those ridiculous shoes.

                                  ***

"I said I'm sorry" I cried. Kat was mad at me as I suspected. "Come on we still have 30 minutes", I said foolishly smiling, though it only made her more furious.

"What the hell were you doing?" she asked me immediately. I measured my options now, what I learned just now was very disturbing for me. If Katy knew about it, I didn't know how she'd react. I was getting all kinds of ideas. Now that she knows that she is a silver-blood would she hate me too if she knew the reason behind their hatred towards people like me, A Red-blood? I immediately decided against it. No Katy would never hate me.

"I'll tell you later what I learned", I whispered looking around nervously. She took the look on my face as it was serious, and let it go, looking puzzled about this secrecy.

"So what were you up to?", came from Clarke.

"Nothing much just took a good nap", I told her, meeting Katy's eyes briefly, so that she doesn't start anything again, and she did understand. I silently moved towards the table and started having my lunch.

"Are you not coming with us again?" asked Merlin, who looked like she really missed me.

"Yes, I think I'll just come with you'll now" I answered, as I really had no intention of getting locked up in a room and go through those disturbing stuff I just learned again and again in my head.

We walked off to the practical class, as much as I hated Professor Herlin, I should say that she was very good at avoiding people especially me. I was quietly sitting at a corner and looking at others in action. They had to do the same practical as yesterday, magically make the letters appear on that piece of paper. Katy still was having difficulty with it. I painfully remembered her breakdown last night, her doubts on herself. I advised her to believe in herself, she promised me she would try, but I should've known better, that one night is too less of a time to pull herself back.

"Don't get too hard on yourself", Alicia told Katy, she was comforting her, I didn't know if her words soothed her, but I could sense her getting relax after some time. Fifteen minutes passed without any success, and I was getting bored looking at the bored faces around the hall, but it got really interesting when a star appeared in front of Professor Herlin out of nowhere. I soon realized it was a very familiar one. It was Glint, or I think I should just call it as the thing or just a star, after an outraged reaction from its father.

"I have a message from the Headmistress" It declared to Professor Herlin. "Professor has asked to meet Miss Catherine, Miss Geoina, Miss Poverin, and Miss Solaria immediately".

I don't know why but for some reason I turned my gaze towards Sonya, as did others. She was pretending to be concentrating on her piece of paper, smirking. I felt like doing anything to wipe of that smirk off her face. Katy, Clarke, Merlin, and Alicia all exchanged puzzled looks amongst them waiting for Professor Herlin to say something. She just asked them to leave and come back if it was over soon. It was by instincts that I just woke up instantly from my seat, but a wide eye from Professor Herlin made me sit back.

Minutes felt like hours, I was sitting there all the time nervous waiting for them to return back any moment, only they didn't. The sweet song of the bird made me break into a run towards the door, to the nearest podium to reach Olivia's office.

I knew it would be inappropriate to go inside the office, but I couldn't stop myself. Like usually, I just lightly stroked the door, hoping for it to open. Only it didn't. It was like somehow it knew I was not needed there. There was no doorknob, not knowing what to do. I just waited outside, anxiously waiting for them to come out. And finally, it opened, and not so happy Merlin, Alicia, Clarke, and Kat spilled out.

"Guys, what happened?" I blurted out; I just couldn't stop myself from asking. After a second of silence, it was Katy who cared to fill the silence.

"Sonya turned us in", she said frowning "She complained that we turned back to school yesterday drinking, she had to take disciplinary action against" us she said.

"And what's that?" I asked immediately.

"We have to help in the kitchen", Clarke said looking desolate.

"Oh, no I'm sorry guys it's all because of me. It was me who agreed for the drinks first". I said feeling dejected of how I got them into trouble.

"Na, it doesn't matter", Alicia replied.

"Ya, it really doesn't matter, we just know now, whom not to take with us the next time we go out" piped out Merlin, looking outraged at Sonya's betrayal.

"Calm down Merlin, you know we are all in the same room, we can make life easy for her, or difficult," said Katy slowly smirking. That did bring a smile on everyone's face, as much as I liked her getting back to herself, I really didn't want her to get into trouble anymore.

"I'll come and help you guys", I said immediately beaming "That's the least I could do," I said smiling foolishly.

"That's so good of you Rose", replied back Merlin painstakingly giving me back a smile.
