"Katy last time we went out for a night stroll, it didn't go that well, you remember right?
"Of course I do Rose, and I'm trying to forget about it, and I believe you should also do so" she snapped back. "See Rose I cannot sit in one place and cry about things which we aren't even sure about, what if that was an accident?...what if that witch or that flying superwomen wanted someone else but she got confused??... Listen, Rose, we cannot stop living thinking about what will happen in the future...DO YOU UNDERSTAND??" She screamed.
"Hey Kat please sit down for a minute and listen to me carefully", I told her calmly; she glared at me suspiciously thinking I might indeed manipulate her to get my way. I ran into the kitchen and fetched myself a glass of water and ran back to Katy.
"Kat now listen, you do understand right, that well! seeing unnatural things is not normal?...and we have seen something that is highly unnatural, it sometimes makes me think that I'm losing my mind but we have witnessed it together, and I don't think we both might be losing our mind together. That was the only proof that makes me think that what we have seen is indeed true see You need to understand that I don't have anyone in my life except for you and I can't lose you Kat whatever it is you think I'm crazy I don't care, but I can't afford to lose you Kat", now tears were about to escape my eyes.
"Rose, no please don't cry, please, I know you are scared, but you have to accept that we can't lock ourselves here forever", she said stretching out her hand.
"I know that we can't hide here Katy, but what I'm saying is that we have to take some precautions now so that this doesn't happen next time. I won't stop you from partying, but we shouldn't be lurking around in the streets alone and..." I stopped mid-sentence because I knew what to do now, Katy was frustrated because we didn't go out for weeks, we didn't have anything resembling fun for weeks, and what she needs now is to forget about everything for some time, so what we need is an idea, something that will be fun at the same time it should be something safe. What if I take her somewhere else far away from this place for some time to have fun? Wow, what a great mind I have!
"Rose...Rose... What are you thinking about? are you coming with me to the party?"
"No, Kat we are not going for the party now, but we are going to have some true fun, just wait a minute". I reached for my phone across the hall, removed it from the charger and went to my own room to call all my close friends. Brandon and I after the accident decided to forget the past and be normal friends back so we were in good terms now, and so I called him first to tell him about the plan, as usual, he answered the call in the first ring itself, I sometimes wonder whether he even sleeps.
"Hey Brandy, Rose here..hmmm, by the way, are you free?"
"Yeah...yeah say Rose, anything important?"
"Well, Brandon I thought if we all could go out for some small vacation you know some cool place...".
"Count me in", he said before even completing my sentence.
