Chapter 26

The fall of Wall Maria was led for everyone to go to Wall Rose. Already, citizens were complaining. The shortage of food was everyone's fear.

I felt bad because everyone from wall Maria was thinking that they would be welcomed and have shelter. They got the exact opposite.

I was walking around passing the food. Or what's left of the food. We gave them shitty cold pieces of bread. That got me so pissed.

My arm was wrapped with bandage around because everyone after the whole thing had to immediately have medical attention.

I was passing food and they would look at me with these eyes that would say "That's it?" I would quickly turn my head so I can ignore the guilt that I had.

Children, mothers, fathers, elderlies, were hungry. And we didn't do shit. We didn't even give them water.

I can't imagine how many people we left back at Shiganshina District. Many men were left there. I could bear seeing them die.

Many of the Garrison were being little girls and retreated without command. Seeing the face of a traumatized person also killed me.

What was worst is that people would literally jump on the boat and some didn't even make it.

They closed the gates without notifying a lot of soldiers, many died because of that and that's when this big ass muscular titan kicked in. Then quickly disappeared.

Once again we have no idea where they came from.

"Ma'am, do you mind giving me three breads. You see, my friend is asleep and I want to be the one to give him one. My other friend is with him and the other one is for me"

I look at his blue eyes and bright blonde hair. I smile "Of course, your not lying to me right?"

He looks at me with a horrified face "N-No" he stammers.

I smile "I'm just kidding, here ya go" I say giving him three pieces of breads. He bows "Thank you so much!"

He starts running in the crowd. I still give a little extra to people who look like they need it. Yesterday, I was passing blankets, some of them don't know where to sleep.

I hear someone talking "If you ask me, I think the titans shoulda ate more people" then a big kick behind me. I turn around and saw the boy from yesterday, Eren.

The boy was on the floor with a little scrape. I see a man with light brown hair and another with dark hair "What the hell kid?!"

I drop the basket and quickly punch the guy with the brown hair and then the other one. My arm stings again. Damn this thing is never going to heal.

I kick the one with dark hair first and then I kick the brown haired one a lot "What the hell is wrong with you!?"

I kept kicking him until he would spit out blood. My right leg was in the air, ready to hit him in the face "Kusaki, stop. You'll kill the bastard" Levi said walking to me.

I look at him "Shut up, this son of a bitch deserves it"

"That son of a bitch is already humiliated by getting beat up by a girl, that's enough"

I put my foot on his face "Your lucky" I grit.

"Kusaki, that enough! Your making people scared"

I look around and see them staring at me oddly. I ignore them and move my foot. I walk up to the boy and help him up "Your Eren, right?"

He nods horrifically "Y-Yes ma'am"

"Don't worry I'm your side, I'm happy to see that your safe"

"Thank you so much ma'am!" The little boy with blonde hair says. I pat his hair "Your welcome"

"Kusaki, we have to go" Levi says dully.

I turn around and look at him "Okay, wait a little longer"

I turn back to them and pat Eren's head too "I'll see you sometime little boy" I walk away and go with Levi.

We were being watched as we left. All the citizens would get out of our way because they were probably scared.

"What do you see in that boy?" Levi asks.

I look at him and chuckle "I don't know yet, I have some weird gut feeling about him"

"Kusaki Greyven, your the weirdest person who always has a gut feeling"

I smile "And my gut is always right, remember that"

I looked down and I had a hard time breathing. Seeing that they have to sleep in a cold spot.

"Kusaki, you hurt again? Why are you so reckless?"

"I'm fine" I lie.

He quickly picks me up from the ground. I looked at him as he was just looking up like nothing "Levi! Levi! Put me down!"

"No, I'm not, your hurt"

I look down and just pout with a red face because there was no use of fighting with this asshole. He would never listen to me.

For some reason when I looked at his face it hit me. I totally forgot.

It was the worst time of the year for this to happen because it was winter.

Winter was also Levi's birthday.
