Kinda Cliche (Clemont x Reader)

Morning Battles

Bonnie had taken Serena out on a walk this morning, asking for a battle as well. I was refereeing a battle between Clemont and Ash, which was really fun to watch. It was down to the final few moves.
"Pikachu, use thunderbolt!"
"Luxiray, dodge and use discharge!"
The 2 blasts of electricity hit each other. As the dust settled, both pokemon were out.
"Luxiray and Pikachu are unable to battle. That means it's a draw."
"Good job Pikachu."
"Thanks Luxiray, you did great."
"That was awesome Clemont! You've gotten way stronger!"
"Same to you Ash. As always, you've proven yourself to be a strong opponent."
"Say, Y/n, I haven't seen you battle yet. Wanna have a battle with me?" Ash asked with excitement.
"You're talking to someone who beat every gym in Sinnoh and the league there. Heck yeah I wanna battle!"
"Since I just came from a meet up with Cilan and Iris, I'll use a Unova pokemon! Samurott, I choose you!"
"Hm.. Alright. A water type for a water type then. Let's make this interesting Pip!"
"Poleon!!"
"What's that pokemon?" Clemont asked.
"Empoleon. The final evolution of Piplup. I can't give ya as much facts as a pokedex, but I can tell you what he is."
"Cool. Alright. A battle between trainer Ash and trainer Y/n. Battle... begin!!"
"Samurott, use hydro pump!!"
"Block it with metal claw!"
It worked, Pip only sliding back a little.
"Alright, Pip use metal claw again!"
"Block it with razor shell!"
It was then a test of strength. Pip won, knocking Samurott back.
"Now, use aqua jet while he's unsteady!"
Pip hit Samurott directly, knocking him back even further.
"Come on get up Samurott!!"
"Samur... ott.." Samurott stood back up.
"Alright! Now use razor shell but throw it!"
"Samurrrott!!!" Samurott threw his shell, hitting Pip directly.
"Alright. Now that we're even again I'd say it's time. Pip, ready?"
"Leon." Pip nodded.
"Mega move, let's go!"
"Mega move?"
"Mega surf!!"
A giant wave came crashing down on Samurott, hitting Ash, Pikachu, and Clemont as well. Clemont shook it off and saw Samurott was out.
"Samurott is unable to battle. That means, Y/n and Empoleon are the victors! I didn't even expect such a huge turn of events!"
"That was so cool!! Please teach me how you did it Y/n!?"
"Pikachu might be the only one of your pokemon who can do it. You see, Pip was my first pokemon. He helped me through everything and we've always had a special bond since I got him. We get power from each other, making each other better. That's all there is to it. Though, I have no clue what kind of bond you have with your other pokemon, so who am I to say."
"Interesting." Clemont mumbles.
"Cool!!! Come on Pikachu, we need to practice!!"
"Pika!!"
Ash runs off, leaving me and Clemont alone once again.
"We seem to keep getting into these situations don't we?" I chuckled.
"What do you mean?"
I sighed. "So dense... I meant alone like this. Though for some reason it feels kinda nice, don't you think?"
"Yeah. It does."
Someone hugs me from behind and I wince, tensing up horribly.
"Guess who?"
"Serena, please let go." •~•
"Sorry."
I turned to her and she wiped a tear from her eye. Bonnie was behind her.
"Bonnie told you, didn't she?" I said quietly. All Serena did was nod.
"I'm sorry." Bonnie started. "I just couldn't do it alone and I know Serena can help you too. I'm really sorry Y/n."
"Its alright. Maybe it's better that both of you know. But just keep it our little secret now alright?"
"We came up with a plan to help you. So you'll just have to play along with it okay?" Serena said.
"Well, what's your plan?"
"Brother! I'm hungry!"
"Say, I've gotta go find Ash. Why don't you and Y/n make breakfast?" Serena suggested to Clemont.
Oh you little, you're still planning on getting us together.
"W-wait, Serena, why do you think this will work?" I whispered to her.
"The best way to feel emotion is by being put in a situation where you can't help but feel something."
Why didn't I try this already? Oh yeah. I'm usually more anti social. Why have I been more social in the past day or so? I'm acting around them as I only would around a good friend.
"O-okay. Come on Y/n, I think we passed a berry tree on the way here."
"Cool."
Serena and Bonnie go looking for Ash as Clemont and I go look for breakfast. How did I get myself into this?
