We arrived back at Michaels and hopped out of the car. We walked into the house hand in hand. I can't even begin to describe how happy I felt. I could almost swear that I was glowing. We headed upstairs and walked into Mikey's room where we found the guys playing Fifa. Me and Luke sat down on the bed.

"I'm cold" I looked up and pouted at Luke.

"I have a collection of onesies if you want" Michael chirped in.

"YAY!" I jumped up going over to Mikes closet to get a onesie. I grabbed one with panda ears and super long arms. I jumped into it and lightly hit Mikey on the head with it.

"owwwwwwwwww" Michael whined. I giggled.

He got up and through me over his shoulder before running downstairs and gently throwing me on the couch. I got up and tickled him, until he was close to tears from laughing. I stopped and put my hands on my hips with a smug look.

"Gotcha" I chuckled.

Suddenly Mikey got up and I sprinted back upstairs and into his room. I quickly jumped behind Luke and hid behind him. Michael burst into the room. He walked up to Luke and reached his arms around  him to pretend to hug him, but his arms were long enough so that he could tickle me. I started cracking up with laughter.

"Okay guys I think thats enough" Cal said with a laugh. We both pouted at him and Mikey walked back to play Fifa again.

I headed home for the first time in the 5 days that I had spent with Luke protecting me. He had offered to come to sleep with me (Not in that way!) But I just told him it would make my dad mad. So he stood there awkwardly watching me walk up my driveway and into my house. Before I shut the door, I turned around to give Luke a thumbs up and a smile. He nodded and walked back inside. I shut the door. I started to walk upstairs, but as I did, I heard my dad say something.

"Where do you think your going Lyss?" I shivered. He was intoxicated. Again.

"J-just upstairs" I whimpered.

"Come here" He said walking towards me with his arms open. I started backing up the stairs.

"No" I said and whipped around running upstairs and into my room.

Once I had calmed down Jake came in. Ha didn't say anything just gave me a hug. We started talking, having an in-depth conversation about our lives, both re-evaluating them. After a few hours we both got tired and he slept in my room with me. We used to do that when we were younger because we were scared. I miss our old lives. When mum was still around. When our lives were just a hell of a lot easier. I started drifting off to sleep.

'I walked into the hospital room, tears already streaming down my face. I saw my mother, needles and tubes poking into her. She looked like a monster. But underneath those I knew she was a beautiful fighter, and that she would beat cancer. Little did I know that she wasn't going to beat it at all, and that it was going to take her away in a few moments.

She was laying conscious, but barely. I grabbed her hand and squeezed it. She squeezed back. I looked at her face, Her eyes were closed and there were tear stains on it. I squeezed once more. She didn't squeeze back. I squeezed again, nothing. Again, nothing. Again, nothing. I was starting to panic. I looked up at the heart monitor and thats when I saw it. My whole world froze and felt like it was going to end. I couldn't move or speak. After a minute of this, I regained control and stared up at the lifeless heart monitor. Then I started to scream t my mother.

"YOU CAN'T DIE! YOU HAVE TO WAKE UP! I NEED YOU! YOUR NOT DEAD, YOUR JUST TEasing... Mommy please.. Please wake up.."

The tears were overwhelming. I had never cried so much before. I just stared at her, Before dropping to my knees and collapsing to the floor crying. Jake was sitting in the corner where he always did. He never said anything, but I could see that he was crying. He never came over to mom, but I could always tell what he was feeling. He was upset, even if he wasn't talking. This time he just looked at me, before hopping down to hug me where I was on the ground, he helped me stand up, an he walked me out of the room and into the corridor. A nurse came in and thats the last I remember.

We never had a funeral for mom, it was to painful for any of us.'

I woke up, crying after that dream. I just couldn't shake it. It was about 9 am so I decided to get up. I didn't know where I was going though, so I decided to have a shower.

Jake must've woken up and left soon after cause he sent me a text saying he was going out. I didn't know what to do. I didn't want to call Luke, because he had probably had enough of me for now.

It was time to confront my Father.
