MALIAS P.O.V—

The doorbell rang and I was waiting in the hallway. Just as when I was about to walk up to open the door, Zack pushed past me and he opened the door before I could.

"Zackary." I sighed.

Aidan walked into the house and he had a rose in his hand.
"Wow." Was the first thing he said when he saw me.

"You look great." He smiled.
I blushed a little as I took the Rose "So do you."

My mom and Dad came into the hallway and they both smiled at each other.

"You both look so cute!" My Mom said as she took a picture of both of us.
"Thank you, Mrs Dolan."

My Dad pointed at me "Don't stay out too late."
My mom interrupted and she rolled her eyes at him "Ethan, let them be. Go have fun you guys."

The prom was everything I could wish for. I couldn't ask for anything else.
When we arrived to the prom, Addison was already waiting at the double doors to the school. She was greeting everyone with all the teachers since she was in charge of the prom committee.

Aidan held his hand out for me to take it and I did. We both walked up to the school and the whole time my heart was racing. I was so nervous but excited at the same time. God knows how he was so okay with all of this.

I followed him into the school and to the gym. Surprisingly, the gym looked really nice for an old school gym. The prom committee actually did a good job making the place look good.

There was a slow song playing and the couples were already dancing.
I was going to go and sit down but Aidan stopped me.

"Don't you want to dance?" He asked me and I chuckled a little.
"I can't dance." I said nervously.

He shrugged "Neither can I. So let's both make a fool of ourselves."
I smiled when he said that and I followed him on to the dance floor.

He put his hand on my back and brought my closer to me. I felt goosebumps on my body and I held his hand, putting my left hand on his shoulder.
He both moved slowly in sync and he spun me around.

"See it's not so bad." He said and I nodded.
"I'm glad I came to the prom with you Aidan." When I said that, a big smile formed on his face.

He grinned "Well I'm glad you said yes."
"What if I said no?"

He shrugged "Then I wouldn't have gone. This is the first time I've went to a prom before you know or even a dance like this. I don't know if you can tell but dances aren't really my thing."
I laughed a little "I can tell. They aren't mine either, I've just never went to one before. I guess I've just always waited for the right person to ask me."

He took a deep breath "There's something I've been meaning to tell you."
I nodded "Yes?"

Aidan stopped speaking and he turned his head to the left.
I saw his nostrils flare and I turned my head to the left to see Connor. Again.

Connor was staring at Aidan and I and it made me feel really uncomfortable.
I tried to change the subject "So what were you gonna tell me?"

"I'll be right back." Aidan said and he was going to walk up to Connor.
"No, Aidan don't." I tried to stop him but he didn't.

I saw Connor grin and he walked out of the door the second Aidan starting walking up to him.
Oh no....

I had no other choice but to follow Aidan. And I did. I pushed past a crowd of people and out of the gym.

I ran into the empty hallway but there was nobody there since everyone was already in the gym. All you could hear was the loud music in the school gym and the sound of my heels tapping on the floor.

I was heading to the double doors but then I heard someone scream.
I quickly turned around and I saw 2 guys laughing and joking with their friends. For a second, I thought something happened to Aidan.

I opened the door and walked out of the school. It was already dark and the street lights were on. It started to rain a little and I stood by the doors and looked around for Aidan.

Addison was the only one standing outside.

"Malia, why aren't you inside with the rest of them? Where's Aidan?" She asked me.
I shrugged "Have you seen him?"

She nodded.
"Yeah, I saw him run into the parking lot-"

"Thanks." I interrupted her and I ran to the parking lot.

"Wait! Where are you going?!" Addison yelled but I didn't stop. I carried on running.

When I reached to the parking lot, I saw Aidan from a far. He shut the car door with anger and ran his fingers through his hair.
"Aidan!" I called his name and he turned around.

I walked up to him and sighed from relief.
I then saw his car window was smashed.

"What the hell happened here?" I looked at him worriedly.
He sighed with anger "I was gonna go and talk to Connor but then I heard a car alarm. I think the asshole smashed my car window."

I shook my head "Then we'll complain to someone but I don't think you should-"
"I'm gonna kick the shit outta him!" He gritted his teeth.

"No you're not." I pointed at him and he sighed again.
I leaned on his car and I felt a cold shiver down my spine.

"It's raining, go back inside." Aidan said to me.
"I'm okay." I told him.

He then took his jacket off and let me wear it.
"Thanks." I smiled.

My phone then rang and it was Addison.
"Hey, Addy what's up?" I answered the call.
"Malia, you need to get over here now!" She sounded scared.

"Why? What's going on?"
"That freak Connor is going crazy. He won't let me call the teachers and he won't leave unless he sees you."

My eyes widened "What the fuck?! I'll be there in a minute."
I ended the call.

"What's wrong?" Aidan asked me.
I sighed "It's Connor. He's at the school and he's....asked to see me."

Aidan scoffed "Yeah right." And then he stormed off to the school.
"Aidan don't." I rolled my eyes but yet again he didn't stop.

"Why the fuck do I talk if you're not gonna listen?!" I yelled.
"I ask myself that all the time." Aidan said but he didn't stop walking.
