"Mama, I'm home!" I yelled as I shut the front door.

"Malia." I heard a voice echo.
What the hell?

When I came into the living room, my brother Zack ran to me so he could give me a hug.

I ran upstairs and headed to my bedroom. I saw my computer was on and I rolled my eyes.
"Zackary, have you been messing with my computer?!"
Zack ran into my room "Look, Aidans book is on the news."

He showed me the news website and I read the headline.
"High school girl makes her late best friends wish come true. Wait this is about me." My eyes widened.

"You're famous Mal!" Zack cheered and I chuckled.
"I'm not famous Zack. I'm so glad people are getting to see Aidans work."

"Malia." I heard that voice echo again.

I shut the laptop and cleared my throat "I'm tired, I need to get some sleep."
"I'll call you when dinners ready." Zack said and he scurried out of the room.

I shut the door behind him and I kicked off my shoes, laying down on my bed and getting comfy under the covers.

My eyes felt heavy and they slowly shut.

~
"Malia." That same voice echoed again.
"Hello?" I questioned, hoping for another answer.

I was standing in the school hallway. I looked around but there was no one.
There wasn't a single person in the hallway either but me.

I sighed and crossed my arms "Uncle Zack, I know it's you."
He janitors closet door opened and my Uncle Zack finally showed his face.

"Where were you this whole time?" I asked him and he smiled.
"I think you're asking that question to the wrong person." He said and I raised my eyebrow from confusion.

"Huh?"
"When He said he was waiting, He didn't mean in life. He meant he would wait for you in heaven."

Then I heard the voices from the day Aidan died. They echoed throughout the hallway.
I'll be right back okay?"
He nodded and smiled. "I'll be here waiting for you."

"Isn't there something you've been meaning to tell him Malia?" Uncle Zack asked me and I nodded.

Zack then pointed at the doors behind me. I quickly turned around and I saw the doors open. They revealed a big white light so I couldn't see outside or who was there.

It was a blurry figure but then as they came into the school, I knew who it was.
"Aidan?" I hoped it was him.

They finally showed their face. He lifted his head up and I smiled.
It was Aidan.

"Uncle Zack, it's him." I was going to look at Zack but he vanished.
My eyes looked back at Aidan. He walked closer to me.

He held out his hand and I took it gently. His hand felt so warm.

"I've missed you." He told me.
I smiled "I missed you too. I read your letter. And I do......I love you too."

When I said that he immediately pressed his lips onto mine and then gave me a big hug.
"Those are the words I've been waiting for." He whispered into my ear.

He slowly backed away a little but he still held my hand.
"Don't go. Please don't go." I begged him and my voice cracked.

Aidan said "Don't worry. I'll always be watching over you Mal."
A single tear rolled down my cheek "But I don't want you to leave me."

He smiled "We'll meet again one day. It may be in a very very long time from now but just know.....I'll be waiting."
He then let go of my hand and walked out of the door, letting himself be hidden in the white light.

The double doors then closed, making the white light disappear and then everything just looked normal again.

I stared at the door for a few seconds, hoping he would come back to me but he didn't.

I then felt someone put their hand on my shoulder. I didn't jump or scream.
I turned around, knowing it was my Uncle Zack and I gave him a hug.

He chuckled "What's this for?"
I still was hugging him tightly "For saving me.  It could've been both of us. Thanks for warning me Uncle Zack."

He hugged me back "You're welcome baby Mal."

I finally let him go.
"Oh and one more thing." He said.
"What?" I asked.

"Wake up Mal." I heard Uncle Zack say.
"Huh?" I gave him a confused look.

"Wake up Mal." He repeated.
"Wake up Mal."
"Wake up Mal."

~
"Wake up Mal!" My brother Zack screamed in my ear and I quickly woke up.
It was just a dream.

If it's not brother Zack then it's Uncle Zack and if it's not Uncle Zack then it's brother Zack.

"Mom says dinners ready." Zack said and I nodded.
I got out of bed and then yawned.

Before I left my room, I turned around and looked at the framed picture of Aidan and I that was sitting on my bedside table.
I smiled as I looked at it.

He might not be here but he lives in my dreams. Forever and always.

The End

🌹AUTHORS NOTE🌹

Sad to say but this book has finally come to an end. But Yano my creative mind thinks ahead and I DO have other plans as well.
Would you guys read another sequel? Or is 3 books finally enough😂LOL! Because I may or may not have an idea but rn it's a little vague and will need a lot of thinking. Lemme give you a clue: Ethans druggie times from when he was a teenager still live on in telling stories and it will open a few opportunities for Malia in the future when she discovers more hidden secrets.🤷🏻‍♀️

I know all my books have a happy ending but I rlly wanted to write a sad/mystery book for once.
The story hasn't got that much of a sad ending because Malia got to fulfill Aidans wishes and she knows that he'll be waiting for her.

For Bad Habits 1 I was gonna stop the story from when Yasmine had Malia but
I feel like I've created a whole world for the Bad Habits books. I haven't just kept it based in a school with a few friends but I've introduced the teachers and given them a backstory like Miss Hosey for e.g. And how the reputations of Ethan and Grayson from when they were at high school still lives on cuz it let Malia continue her journey and how everyone knows who she is cuz she's Ethans kid.

Honestly thank for you FUCKING MUCH for reading not just this book but my other Bad Habits books. I had no idea so many of you enjoyed them sm and it's you guys that inspired me to write more chapters. Big Thank you to all of you❤️😭
So now for the last time on this book. BYE XOXO😘😍❤️💜✌️✌️✌️✌️
