Chapter Twenty

Majnoon tried so hard to move on and have decided to leave everything in the hands of Allah .
She no longer joke with her studies, they wrote their 200level first semester exam and went home for break, Haisam is also going through emotional stress, each time he thinks of the moments they spent together with Majnoon;he Is always smiling to that but the moment he remembers the messages he saw in Omair's phone he gets annoyed.
Mimie kept on seeking for Haisam's attention but he didn't give her the chance.

Majnoon resumed for second semester, she attends all her lectures;their results was released and she performed well and she was so happy.
One day, Majnoon and Ummul khair went to the school ATM to withdraw money, someone called out to Majnoon then she turned to see who called her name, "Majnoon is this you?" asked by the guy that called her name, Majnoon looked at him from head to toe disgustingly and told Ummul khair that they should go for their next lecture, the guy kept on calling Majnoon but she didn't answer him.
"Majnoon who is that guy that keeps calling you like he knows you " Ummul khair asked curiously
"that is the stupid Adeel I once told you about " Majnoon said while the lecture hall. "oh! I see, he is not even ashamed of himself and he has the guts to call your name, Majnoon you should have told me there I would have given him the lectures of his life " Ummul khair said dramatically.
Majnoon chuckled and said "please let's not talk about fools like him ".

Sometimes if she misses Haisam so badly she usually go through all the pictures they snapped together and all the messages he sends to her in the morning and night, she will just cry for that moment and that's all.
They wrote their second semester exam she went home for the semester break, a week after she went home one afternoon she was sitting in the parlour watching a Korean movie " good doctor " slowly munching on a pack of cheese balls when she heard salam then she answered without looking at who came in .
"give me that " Habib said while snatching the pack of cheese balls from Majnoon's hands that seems not to notice his presence.
"oh my goodness! Habib you scared me " said Majnoon holding onto her chest trying to steady her breathe.
"laughing so hard,that serves you right ; before I came in I salamed of which you answered absent minded without even looking at who did the salam simply because you are watching this crap "
"stop lying you are just been creepy and the movie am watching is not a crap "
"whatever! the whole house seems quiet where is mum and dad " Habib asked
"Dad has not returned from work and Mum went to visit one of her friends so am home alone "
"okay, how have you been, how is school and am sure you guys are on break right "
"am fine, school is cool and yeah we are presently on break "
"okay nice " Habib said while eating Majnoon's cheese balls.
"don't eat that! I was at your house last week when I asked of you mummy told me in were not in town "Majnoon said while snatching back her cheese balls.
"yeah presently am now working in Lugbe ,I came in yesterday so I decided to see you guys today" said Habib.
"okay " Majnoon said while focusing on the movie
"so how is Haisam,i hope he is treating you well " immediately she heard him mention Haisam she stiffed "yeah he is fine and of course he is treating me good" Majnoon said trying not to break down in his presence "Majnoon you are lying to me right, tell me what is wrong" Habib said with concern laced in his voice
"please! Why would I lie to you Haisam is fine " Majnoon said avoiding eye contact with Habib.
"sighed Majnoon I hope you know it's Habib sitting here, I know you so well so open up and tell me what happened "
she broke down in tears! she couldn't hold back the tears anymore then she told him everything that happened.
"Majnoon please stop crying you know I don't like seeing you in tears ; I know you didn't do what he accused you of and I know definitely the truth will soon be out, he will come back and apologize to you "
"thank you for believing me, it's just that I miss him so much Habib and I hope he will come back to me but if he doesn't it means we were never meant to be "
"yeah sure now wipe your tears and smile for me " Habib said trying to cheer her up..
"thanks so much Habib, I really appreciate it "
"common it's nothing sis you know I care, Majnoon I should be on my way now I have lots of people to visit, so take care of yourself for me "
"alright byeee"
When Habib left Majnoon continued watching the movie, five minutes later her phone beeped when she checked it was a message from Yusrah's husband Uncle Ismail informing her that Yusrah has given birth to a baby boy; she didn't know when she squealed so loudly .
She called Ismail and congratulated him promising to visit them to see the baby.

Am so so sorry please!
