Kevin was ignoring me. I mean, he ignores me everyday, but today he looked really pissed at me and would not even glance at my direction. Let me enlighten you guys, being ignored is the worst feeling ever.
So during lunch break, I approached Kevin, who was eating alone in the corner of the cafeteria. I plopped down on the seat before him and apologized, "I am really sorry for yesterday but it was an accident. I was just passing by. And I swear I heard nothing!"
He just rolled his eyes and looked away. I threw my hands up in the air and exclaimed, "Oh, come on! Stop sulking like a child!"
Kevin threw me a withering glare and hissed, " I am acting like a child? It's you who is acting like an irritating kid and sticking to me like a leech! Stay away from me. I just want to be left alone, why don't you get it?"
"Because I don't give up until I get what I want", I replied.
"Great!", he exclaimed sarcastically, "You're not only a pathetic wannabe singer, but also a psychotic kid!"
"Wait a minute! Are you admitting that you watch my videos on YouTube?"
He froze for a second and then muttered, "It doesn't matter."
"Oh my, you watch my videos! I feel so flattered!"
"Just to make it clear, you sound like a dying frog!"
I pouted. "That's so mean!", I whined.
Kevin raised his eyebrows and pointed out, "See? You even pout! That's childish!"
I rolled my eyes. "Am I forgiven yet?"
Kevin huffed and looked away. "Yes", he snapped. Just then, the bell rang. "But stay away from me. I don't want flies hovering around."
"Thanks!", I said loudly. I stood up, kissed his cheek as fast as I could and rushed towards the classroom, saying, "See ya later!"
And I did not miss the obvious blush in his cheeks. Hehe... Insert an evil grin.
I want to nominate this story for the Watty Awards but I'm not sure I can complete it on time. I'll try to complete it as fast as I can but I have a lot of ideas for this story which might take a long time to write down. Anyway, I hope you are enjoying the story so far.
