We finally pulled apart when the ride came to a stop. Kevin hurriedly got out and hissed at me, "Don't. Ever. Do. That. Again." And he walked away. I quickly scrambled out of the seat and went after him.
"What?", I demanded, "You kissed me back too!"
"I wasn't in my right mind", he muttered as he began walking more quickly, away from me.
"When are you ever in your right mind? That's no excuse! Admit it, you enjoyed the kiss!", I chased him.
"No, I did not enjoy it! Now get the fu*k away from me!"
"You liked the kiss and now you want more! But for some reason, whose knowledge I'm deprived of, you are resisting it! What the hell is up with you?", I panted after him.
He stopped abruptly and I smashed right on his back. I stumbled backwards as he turned towards me. "Leave. Me. Alone.", he said angrily through gritted teeth. But when I looked at his eyes, I found a different kind of emotion. Was it fear?
"Are you afraid of something?", I whispered. I heard Kevin take in a sharp breath. "What are you afraid of? And why? What is it that you're not telling me? What are you hiding, Kevin?"
He pinned me with a piercing glare and said, "Don't poke your nose where it doesn't belong, kid." And with that, he walked away. I tried to go after him, but I soon lost him in the crowd.
One thing I was certain of. Kevin was hiding something from me, something because of which he was running away from me.
And I'll make sure to find out what that something is...
This is a filler kinda. Keep reading! :)
