Cortez

I headed over to Nicki's house for some help. Last year, she apologized for lying and ever since then, we've been close. I go to her to vent and she does the same. When I got there, I knocked on the door and she opened with a silk robe on with a black lace bra and panties.

"Trouble in paradise again?" She asked with a smirk.

"Yeah man. It's her fault this time," I said with a sigh. She opened the door wider for me to come inside. "Tell mama what happened so she can solve it," Nicki said while giggling.

"After she got out of the hospital, we went to go pick up Destiny. She went inside Jace house and shit, came back looking all sad and shit. Then all of a sudden, she laughing and shit. When we got home m, she talkin' about she was thinking about Jace and all the good times they had. I went off man. I was like how the fuck you going to think about another nigga when you was with me. I just don't know what to think about it man."

"Maybe she's not ready for a full commitment with somebody. Jace spoke of her before and he says he was in love with her and she was the same."

I ran my hand down my face and stared at Nicki's face. Her pink plump lips, her blonde curls cascading from her scalp that surround her face made me realize she's a beautiful sight to see. I leaned in forward and kissed her lips. At first she hesitated but accepted the sudden kiss. Her lips were as soft as pillows. My hands started to roam her body as she straddled my lap. Suddenly, Jennifer, Destiny, and Calvin popped up into my mind.

"Stop," I said against her lips but she kept going. She tried to lift my shirt but I grabbed her wrists and shoved her off of me.

"What's wrong?" She asked confusedly.

"This isn't right. I'm sorry for this," I said while standing up. I walked out of her house, hearing her yell out my name. I got inside of my car and sped off. I had to make things straight with my wife. Once I got there, an all too familiar car was parked in the driveway. I hopped out my car and stormed into the house seeing Jace and Jennifer hugging,

"What the fuck is going on here?" I growled.

Both of their heads snapped up in surprise.

"N-nothing Cortez," she said. I glared up at the both of them and suddenly, Jace kissed Jennifer's lips. All I could see was red before I lunged at Jace's body. Our bodies fell to the floor, with my body dominating his. I punched his face repeatedly while he threw punches to my stomach but that didn't phase me.

"Cortez stop!" I heard Jennifer scream. I felt her hands tugging at my arms but that didn't stop me. All I felt was anger. I was angry because it felt like Jennifer didn't want me. I was angry because she let this nigga kiss her. I was angry because they were hugged up together. I'm angry because I didn't handle this situation like I shouldn't have.

I stood up and spit on Jace's lifeless body. "Fuck you nigga. I fuckin' hate you." I turned towards Jennifer. "Give me my damn ring back. I'm moving out."

"Don't do this baby," she pleaded but I shook my head.

"No Jennifer. You clearly still have feelings for that nigga," I said while walking to the door. "Don't fuckin' bother to call me."

Jennifer

I sat on the couch, wiping my falling tears when I heard the doorbell ring. I got up from the couch and went to the front door and saw Jace standing there with a saddened expression.

"You shouldn't be here Jace," I told him.

"I was coming to tell my daughter bye forever. I'm not needed here in this world. My parents hate me, my siblings, my whole family, Destiny, and you. I feel like a failure, as a father and a person." He sighs. "Can you just tell Destiny I love her very much and daddy won't be here for long."
