Chapter 13

Todoroki pov

I wake up early the next morning and start getting ready. I rush to the bathroom before anyone else could hog it first. I take a quick shower then headed downstairs. No one seemed to be awake yet so I only made enough for myself.

I read and stretched for a while before checking the time, 11:30. I decide to leave a little early, so I wouldn't be late. Y/n sent her address last night so i left and walked there. i was shocked to see how close she lived, then remember her parents and realized she must have a fairly wealthy family. I walked up to the simple house and knock, no answer.

Her house was as big as mine, but instead of the traditional Japanese style, hers looked like a glorified townhome. I knock again and still no answer. I called y/n but she didn't pick up and I was getting impatient. I walk around the side of the house to the back and realize how big her yard was. it was big, bigger than the house, but basically empty.

The back of her house was almost completely glass, i pear thought into the house and it was empty, no one in sight. he house was decorated very simplistic, all the walls and floors were white, along with the furniture and decorations, with lots of bright green plants and small black decorations too as some contrast. it was simple but nice. 

I pull on the glass sliding door and realize it was unlocked. I knew what I was doing might be considered breaking and entering but it's whatever. I walk around the first floor looking for y/n but there was no sign of her, the place looked as if no one even lived here, everything was clean and seemed untouched. I head upstairs and notice there was only one door that wasn't opened. I walk up to the door and knock twice. I wait and hear a slight moan, "y/n is that you?" I ask while slightly opening the door.

I peer inside and see y/n sleeping on a full-sized bed in the middle of the large room, which was decorated just like the rest of the house. I walk towards her and see she's still sound asleep. I scan over her and realize she was wearing shorts and a tank top with her hair down. I stared at her h/l h/c hair. I've never seen her hair like this, it's always been slicked back and away from her face. I break my stare and shake her shoulder, "out y/n it's 12, what the hell are you doing?"

Her e/c eyes snap open and she stares at me, "What are you doing?" She looked up at me in confusion. "What time is it?" I sigh and sit up, "it's 12 like I just said. Why the hell are you still asleep?"

She snaps up and looks at me, "oh my god I'm so sorry! I've never stayed up as late as I did last night! Give me three seconds and I'll be ready!" she ran across her room in a panic and grabbed clothes and into the connecting bathroom. second, later she busts out in her regular black leggings and f/c workout shirt. Her hair was still down but she seemed more awake and composed. "I'm so sorry! I guess I never heard my alarm go off, I just need to grab something to eat and I'll be ready, do you want anything?"

I shake my head no and follow her to the kitchen. I sit on the island counter and watch as she cooks up some eggs and white rice. I smelled amazing, I stared at the bowl she placed on the counter and she noticed. "Do you want some?"

I grab the extra pair of chopsticks from her and dig in together. It stayed silent as we ate and when she finished she cleaned the dishes and we headed outside. I look around at the flat cement and dirt backyard then back at her.

She must have known what I was thinking cause she said, "My parents destroyed the backyard and made this when my quirk appeared. They wanted to start training me right away, so I would have an advantage when it came to using and controlling my quirk."

I nod, cause I understood. My father may not have flattened out the whole yard but he did start training me from a young age. I get into a fighting stance and look at her, she nodded signaling she understood and her face completely changed.

It went from the relaxed and calm to lazar focused and almost mad. I make the first move, sending sharp ice structures towards her but they were destroyed into small pieces just as fast as I formed it. I looked at the small ice pieces in shook and y/n took the opportunity to attack.

She came running at me full speed and destroyed the ground under me. I feel into the deep hole but used ice to bring myself back up to y/n's level and attack with another ice structure, but she destroyed it just like the last one, this was gonna be fun.
