I can't believe me and Travis are freaking rivals when it comes to Katelyn I didn't think I'd fall for the tough blue berry muffin. At first first I thought it was just a little crush but the more time I spent with her like during class, volleyball, or hanging with her and our other friends.
I laid on my f/c sheets on my bed and thought of ways to ask Katelyn out. I texted Aphmau and KC or some advice and as usual I was given some cheesy cute advice from Kawaii~Chan and Aphmau told me to 'just go got it gurl <3'. Believe it or not I even asked Laurence but didn't mention the person I had a thing for was Katelyn because he and Travis were good friends and I didn't want to put him in a awkward situation, his advice was for me to remain cool and flirty.
Uhhhggg Is there a way I can follow all of there advice but still do things my own way? I hope so I mean I did invite Katelyn to hang out at my house at 3:00pm and it was already 1:20 pm the one night my parents were visiting my grandparents. I made my decision slipping into my plum colored sleeve less hoodie I started planning on how to tell her.

I'm going to first put on a funny/scary movie because I'm pretty sure she would like it and then try to make strawberry puffs because I know she likes then at the end I'm gonna tell her I have something to show her in my backyard *cough my feelings cough*.
I started to get my backyard set with fairly lights that had a f/c and light blue glow and put the mini pastry's of muffins I baked in the morning with help from Kawaii~Chan.

"Hey Y/n I'm here" A voice called out from the front of my house.
"Coming give me a second!" I shouted back while stepping into the house and shutting the back door. I walked up nervously and trying to get my heartbeat steady before opening the door.

"Hey n/n what's up" Katelyn said leaning on the door frame. I smiled and was going to reply till I saw a certain cotton haired boy next to Katelyn. "Heyyyy Y/n".
OH MY IRENE NO you have to be kidding me this can not be happening. I have everything set up in my backyard Travis why did you have to be here? I thought internally.
"Hey Y/n ya good?" Katelyn asked waving a hand in front of my face.
"Yeah of course I am (not), I just really wanted it to be just us hanging out" I said sweating bullets and imaging what would happen if Travis and Katelyn were to see my backyard.
"Yeah see ya dingus, I told you she just wanted to hang out with me" Katelyn said putting the palm of her hand of her face.
"Oh come onnnn! Guys" Travis said trying to convince us to let him hang out with us.
"Travis go away I'm hanging with Y/n" Katelyn said before stepping inside and closing the door on him
"That was cold even for you Katelyn" I chuckled feelings a bit bad for Travis.
"Meh it's fine, I just wanted us to hang to." She said averting her eyes.
I blushed softly and tried to stutter out a sentence feeling like Garroth. Instead I took her hand and lead her to the backyard.
I straightened out my black jean shorts and opened the back door to reveal the soft glowing fairy lights glowing brighter with the picnic that had a floral patterns cover with muffins under a evergreen tree.

"Y/n this is beautiful, is it for me?" Katelyn asked in awe of the place.
"Yeah it is, and what I wanted to ask you is if you wanted to go out with me?" I said nervously waiting for her to reject me and voice her love for Travis. Which nothing like that happened instead she said.
"Y-yes I would love to go out with you?" She said pulling me into a hug.
