✿Aphmau x Reader✿ Almost Run Over

"Come on Aph pick a flavor already" you giggled as she walked up and down the aisle trying to decide what flavor. Gazing over you tried to stifle a chuckle at the impatient child tugging their father's hand wanting to choose their flavor next. 

"I've finally got it!" she said jogging back to you and telling you her choice.

"Can I get two scoops of chocolate and cookie dough and two scoops f/f and mint chocolate chip?" you said politely to the teen worker. After getting your ice creams you slipped your hand into hers as you both walked along the street.

"Heh bite sized you were right that place does have good ice cream" You teased winking as you licked the cone.

"Haha obviously I was right babes" Aphmau said winking right back. I can't believe out of all the other dorks after her I was the one who was lucky enough to be the one who holds her. As a dreamy look danced across your face your girlfriend softy chuckled taking in the rare sight of you looking so soft.

"There's the park all we have to do is cross" Aphmau pointed out at the street next to the stop sign. It was a relatively empty street with little traffic and a perfect time to cross.

"Sweet let's go" You said both of you still hand and hand in with each other and started making your way across the street.

Suddenly the lights switched to red and a car sped towards both of you still on the street. Without skipping a beat Aphmau pulled you with her and both of you made a run for the sidewalk.

"I'M SO SORRY!" The short girl cried, still running.

"FUCK YOU, DICKWAD" The other girl hollered as a passerbyer laughed at sight of two adorable opposites.              

"Oh my Irene are you girls okay?" A black and blonde haired girl said making her way over to the couple.

"Thankfully yeah we are" You said reassuring the concerned stranger. Aphmau straighten her shirt still kind of winded.

"I think it's cute the whole soft and tough combo with you both" The dark eyed girl said grinning.

"It's actually pretty easy being nice to a bitter girl like her" Aphmau said, winking at you as you pouted.

"Well good on you girls" the girl said making her way down the street.

"Pfft this has been a pretty crazy day" Aphmau said squeezing your hand once you both found a picnic table to sit at.

"I'm honestly happy you're okay" You said pressing a soft kiss on her temple.

"I'm just happy that you didn't get run over cursing that driver out" She laughed resting her head on your shoulder.
