It was Saturday afternoon after adjusting my black beanie with a small snowflake pin I figured I was good to go. With my f/c cold shoulder hoodie on I felt that I was ready to keep going. I wonder what Dante was trying to tell me before the bell rang. I tried to bring it up but he always brushed it off with a nervous laugh. What was really weird was that the same thing was happening with Gene I haven't heard from him in a few days what are those two up to?
The walk there was short, I spent most of it thinking of my muddled feelings for Dante and Gene that I tried to deny to myself there just so great in their own ways.
"Hey Y/n over here" I saw Dante sitting on a bench near a pond.
I smiled as I saw him and noticed how his hair was a bit different with lighter blue highlights "Hey Dante what's up and Ilike the highlights" I said with a smile, sitting next to him. I saw the blue haired boy fidget with his hands while he looked at the green reflection of us in the pond.
"I wanna be honest with you, I really like you and for the right reasons not the shallow ones." Dante finally looked at me as if looking at my face to see if should continue going. I softly smiled in response even though on the inside I was shook at a confession at the park.
"I like you because even though what everyone says about you decided to get to know me first, and even though I can be a flirt with amazing pick up lines I can still joke and be myself when I'm around you" Then he took my hand and gave a small smile that made my heart slightly flutter.
"Dante, Cream puff?" I heard the voice of Gene. We both stood up and before I got a chance to say hello, he took my hands and pulled me closer to him. Before I could say anything or Dante could make a protest Gene spoke.
"Dante was right about what he said about you and I'm sorry for this bro" He looked apologetically toward Dante.
"Cream puff- Y/n I have a thing for you and have for a while. What I love about you is how you never judge anyone especially me and all the things I'm known for and done. Your amazingly beautiful in every way." Once again I felt my heart but this time it seemed like my heart beat only got faster.
"So which one of us are you going to choose" Dante said while Gene and him looked at me with such different experion but both my face glow reder I felt crushed.
