It was a bright day and the skies were sunny and clear.
"Dottie, Rylan, are you sure this is gonna work?" I said nervously while running my fingers through my long/short hair waiting for him to show up.
"Daneil likes cute things so by default he likes you" Dottie gushed to me while I felt my face heat up. Fidgeting with the flowers in my hand I suddenly had a brilliant idea.
"Hey Y/n! Sorry I was a little late" A green haired boy chirped cheerfully.
"It's cool wanna get something to eat" I asked, getting off the birch bench.
"Yeah I brought weenies" He said happily as I snorted at his wording.
After both sat down on the grass we ate as we watched some other kids play kick ball. I somehow managed to end up holding his hand where we sat. I looked back at Daniel both of us blushed but he looked blissful.
"Y-Y/n I think you're really great and-" He started with his deep blue eyes shining. My eyes widened at the shy boy I had a crush on was about to confess to me.
"Wait!" I said quickly turning around and pulled out the flower crown I made.
"I made this for you because I really like you and these are the reasons why" I said.
"A freesia for innocence" I said looking at him with a shy look.
"A yellow rose with red tips for friendship to feelings" I said as we both glowed pink.
"Moonflower for dreaming of love" I said as we both leaned closer to each other.
"A daffodil because you make me happy" I said with my eyes lingering to his lips
"Purple heather because I admire you" I said as our foreheads almost touched.
"A tulip for a declaration of- '' I was cut off as Daniel laid a soft kiss on my cheek as I felt his fluffy ears tickle the side of my face.
I slowly slipped my arms around him to put the flower crown on his head as he started blushing at the position we were in with my arms around him and me on his lap.
"I t-thing this was a perfect first date," He said, all blushy.
"Yeah" I said snuggling up to him.
