Chapter 2

Place: Los Angeles
August 9
7:35 p.m

Minho

"Are you sure we aren't in Area 51?" Changbin said looking around. He was hiding behind me holding onto my arms. I titled my head still staring across the road.

"There's literally nothing there, how can someone just disappear." I clicked my tongue and moved Changbin away. I was about to open the car door when I felt Changbin's hands stopping me. "What?" I asked turning around to see what he was pointing at. There across the street was Johnny along with a man. 'Not going to lie, he is handsome, but sketchy.'

"We should probably run," Changbin whispered. I nodded, but before we could run the very handsome man stopped us.

"Wait! I know you are confused and probably scared, but we will explain everything if you follow us," The handsome man said. "Please trust me. I'm Jinyoung by the way, son of Demeter."

The boy beside me huffed then grinned "Ha okay, I'm Changbin, son of Tae, and this is Minho, son of himself.

"That's not- you know what just follow me," Jinyoung gave up and turned his back on us. I just sighed, all I want to do is sleep and get this day over with.

"Let's just go bin," I told him. He nodded and we followed Jinyoung.

We crossed the street and stopped when Jinyoung disappeared along with Johnny. I just grabbed Changbin's hand and walked forward. My eye closed as a bright light hit me. When the light was gone, I opened them up to see that we we're no longer in the desert. There was the brightest grass I've very seen, there were a few houses on the far right, and a lot of people with weapons in their hands. I let out a nervous chuckle as I saw someone almost getting stabbed.

"Welcome to Demigod Park. This is a place were you can be safe and make friends," Jinyoung began. He clapped his hands and turned to us. "Now to explain. You two are demigods, meaning you are half god, half human. As you can probably tell one of your parents are Greek gods."

My mouth was slightly opened, I looked at Johnny and tilted my head "Huh!"

Johnny sighed "Okay, my father is Hermes. I have some powers like flying." Right after he got down speaking his feet began to lift off the ground.

"You'd think I would be freaked out, but I've seen to many things today that I don't care anymore," I said.
"Just tell us what you need to."

"Okay, your demigods, right. Your godly parent still needs to claim you. The only reason why we know you two are half god is because, of one you passed through the force field and there are also some other reasons why, but that's for another day," Jinyoung explained.

"Jinyoung! There's a problem with the same two demi's form last week! There're back at it again trying to kill each other!" A girl ran up yelling.

"Alright, um... Jihyo, come help these new kids." Jinyoung ordered. "I'm sorry I have to go." The Jihyo person walked over to us. She was wearing a flowy white dress and had a smile on her face.

She still looked a bit intimidating to Minho until she opened her mouth. "Hi, I'm Jihyo," She stuck out her hand and smiled at both of us. I couldn't help but smile back like a fool as I shook it.

I giggled "Hey, I'm Minho."

"Your straightness is showing," Johnny mumble as he jabbed me with his elbow. I cleared my throat and put on my serious face on.

"My name is Changbin."

"Great, Johnny you can go if you want. I'll show them around, don't worry." Jihyo told Johnny.

"Right, I'll see you two later. Love ya," Johnny began to walk away waving his hand. We waved back as he left.

"Okay, where should we star- Yo, Jihyo!" I turned my head over to where the voice came from. There was a group of three boys walking up to us, but the one that caught my attention was the boy with blonde hair. I looked away not wanting to gain attention from them, so I just stared at the grass. "Oh no." She groaned. "What's up?"

"Nothing much, just looking for Han, he's hiding from me. Anyway who are they?" The guy in the middle asked. I'm assuming he's the leader.

"They are the new kids. The shorter on is Changbin Seo and that's Minho Lee." Jihyo informed them. "Go easy on them, Tommy."

"Uh, I don't know, you see I have to show them who's boss around here." I scoffed at him and rolled my eyes. Of course I didn't do it to his face. I was facing the other direction. "Show me your faces, I can't see." I pretended as if I couldn't hear, Changbin on the other hand did do as told. "Hey!" I slowly turned my head at him and smiled bitterly. "Wow, your cute and hot." The so called Tommy smirked.
"How about we introduce ourselves," Tommy told his group. They nodded in agreement. "Well, I'm Tommy son of Ares. The one on my left is Dean..."

"Son of Hephaestus," Dean finished off  Tommy's sentence.

"I'm Chan, but to you two, I'm Christopher. I'm son of Zeus." The blonde haired boy said.

"I think Christopher is to long, how about Crispy." Changbin said loud enough for only me to hear. I couldn't help but snicker at his comment.

"What's so funny? Anyway, anything you boys would like to tell the newbies," Tommy asked his friends.

"Just stay out of my way and we'll be fine," Chris said coldly.

I rolled my eyes and may have mocked him. "Blah, blah, blah." I made eye contact with Chris and raised a eyebrow as he glared at me.
They three guys finally walked away.

"How about we continue the tour," Jihyo clapped her hands. Changbin and me nodded, and began to walk.
