Cliché #155: the crowd of students always parts for the bad boy

I was struggling to get through the thick throng of students all rushing around me. Suddenly, the pressure around me lessened as the students all parted, leaning back against the lockers and looking reverently at the guy walking down the hallways.

He had dark hair, matching an equally dark expression as he walked closer and closer to me, staring at me. Then I cursed. I'm the only one standing still in the middle of the hallway...and in this boy's path!!!!

How does this happen, like nobody has the time or the care to part for anybody in my school like you just gotta get through and stay on the correct side to follow the flow of traffic lol
