Chapter 4

"PTA meeting, tell me a parent who loves them" Zayn whined to Harry.

"I do..."

"It was a rhetorical question, Harry"

"And rhetorical answer.."

"Shut up, let's go" Zayn said getting out of their car.

"Liam, hi..are you the teacher or parent tonight?" Harry asked.

"Both..I've heard news from our Yazz. Congratulations to you both"

"Can you stop having children, please? I can't keep up. " Louis said.

"And you will never keep up, I've got golden swimmers.."

"Eww...Harry, watch your language, people might hear" Liam whispered.

"Sorry Mr Payne" Harry said in a child's voice.

"I'm not even pregnant.."

"Not pregnant..yet. But it won't be long before our little Ava is here.."

"Ava?" Louis asked.

"Yes, Ava.." Zayn said as they went into the school hall for the meeting. Harry has already named their yet to be concieved girl, Ava Rose.

"I like the name, Zee. Harry named her then when she's not even born? I'm surprised.."

"Harry has named all our plants, non living things, how are you surprised Liam.."

"Parents..." A teacher clapped her hands  to get their attention.

Zayn doesn't mind meet-the-teacher one to one meeting and updates about Yazz's progress, but PTA, argh... Why does parents have to be involved in the organizing of events. He's not sure what teachers do these days when everything is handed over to parents. If there's a school trip, parents not only have to pay for the trip,they have to chaperone. Does he want his child to go to a waterpark, maybe during holidays but not term time and he has to tag along. Isn't the school responsibilty to fundraise, whilsupporting charity walks is good, having to man a station, not so good. He's been so involved in his thoughts he didn't notice someone coming their way, till Harry stood up moving his chair back. Volunteer time then, Harry always stood up first to be counted or raised his hand to volunteer. He's involved in everything, baking, he's there gossiping with the other mothers, charity runs, try and stop him.

"Mr Styles?" Harry looked towards the voice, but Zayn wanted to escape there's only one reason a teacher would approach them..volunteers.

"I meant the other Mr Styles.." Zayn groaned, "Zayn"

"Justin, hello" Justin, PTA committee member, for a year he wanted Zayn to join them.

"We would love if you consider joining us this year..."

"I'm sorry I can't, with three children, two at home all the time, I don't have time for myself let alone a committee"

"That's a shame, I would love to have you..."

"No, he can't" Harry said, hand around Zayn's waist.

"Okay, how about you join our charity run then?" Justin tried again. He was competitive and hates that Harry always wins. One spouse was allowed to participate, stupid rule, Harry always said cause he wanted Zayn running with him. Zayn never complained. He love the rule.

"Sorry again, Justin. I'm..um..pregnant, too risky" Zayn said looking at a smirking Harry,

"Sign me in, I'll join the run" Harry said,
