Chapter 16

It's been a whirlwind month, mending of broken friendships and making up for Harry and Zayn, lots of it. This pregnancy has to be Harry's favourite, at three months Zayn has no morning sickness and eats everything in sight. He's also relaxed, chilled like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders. He's also decided staying at home is good for him and is selling his tattoo shop. Life is looking good for the Styles family. One relationship that hasn't had as much luck, aka, Louis and Jake. The Zayn-Jake incident is and has haunted their relationship and they can't find a way forward.

"We are on a break.."

"Oh.."

"Yeah. I need time out, there's been lots going on and I don't wanna lose my focus.."

"Your focus being?" Zayn asked getting comfortable on the couch. There was a background music playing quietly, he would rather listen to it but..he needs to be a good friend and listen.

"Bella. Eleanor is leaving for new York for work and I get to have her full time now. She's upset her mom is leaving but once Eleanor has settled, she can visit I said. I just hate seeing her upset and I don't want my problems with Jake to get in the way of me being a father.."

"Why can't you do both?"

"Do both?" Louis asked turning around from his position to face Zayn.

"Be a father and a boyfriend. Focus on her without losing focus on yourself. You want her happy and to have your full attention but by ignoring Jake you'll be unhappy and kids are quick to pick up a bad mood.."

"Are you saying I'm moody?"

"No, what you are is pregnant and Jake is the father don't lose focus on that.."

"Um..I'm thinking about termination.."

"Sorry what! Why?"

"Too soon. I'm not like you Zayn.."

"Not like me, what does that mean?"

"I don't want a child, I'm not into breeding.."

"Okay...I'm not going to be offended by that, and assume you meant broody. But news flash you're already have a child, Isabella. That's your breed right there"

"I meant breeding not broody. I hate the whole being pregnant thing, some days more than others. I'm used to always being the dominant one and don't take well to not being the man"

"Who said you can't be a dominant and a bottom? And don't act like you're not the boss, whatever you want Jake will do. He agreed to a break because it's what you want, not him. Am I wrong?"

"Yes he agreed to a break because he didn't want me upset. He only cares about his baby.."

"Your baby..as in yours and his. You've known you could get pregnant, you old enough to know about safe sex. Don't deny a child a life cause you don't wanna be viewed as not being the man in the relationship.."

"Whoa, okay..I'm gonna try and not be offended by what you just said. I'm not denying a child a life when I don't want to have one when I'm not ready, mentally and emotionally.."

"You're thirty two, don't you think that's old enough to be ready?"

"Okay..take off your judgemental hat for a second. Age has nothing to do with it. I've got so much going on, El leaving, you.."

"Me?"

"I feel responsible for the whole Cowell saga, it's my fault he threatened you, and in a way I don't blame El moving to another country I kinda wish I could do the same. Disappear, so I don't have to face all this.."
